The 2024 NFL Draft was historic. The first 14 selections were from the offensive side of the ball, the longest streak of picks on one side of the ball at any point in a single draft in the common draft era (since 1967). An NFLDraft-record 23 offensive players came off the board in the opening round, which then resulted in 20 defensive players being selected in the second round.
