I feel like brook is more like semi-immortal. I think he is more immune to almost all mortal ways to die due to him being a skeleton. He is immune to poison, can't drown when stuck in the water (I think this was shown a few times if i remember corectly), can simply put himself together when losing his head and other bones., and can repair broken bones with milk. i think being a skeleton gives him a enhanced form of longevity as he can't realy age physicaly. But i don't think he is truely immortal, as he did say that he dies if his spine gets smashed.

Hard to think about how there are islands and alternate routes throughout the grandline that haven’t been helped and some might have even been completely ruined somehow.

so many people theorize Luffy will die at the end of One Piece. I go with the theory that Chopper will save him as this fits the dream fullfillment aspect that we've been going with the entire run of the series.

Im just gonna leave it here but, that moment when they were kids and Luffy got punched cause he didnt want to say anything about the money, he said: "being alone Is way worse than being hurt". He was 7 and already aware he was alone. He really thought he was born with no Family other than His grandpa who im almost sure, was always away working. Imagine, He was completely shocked and confused when they told him he had an actual dad. He was alone for 7 years, then he met Ace, another boy like him. And with Ace came sabo. For the first Time in His entire life, he had Family, one that loved him and would stay with by His side no matter how strong or weak he was.

Luffy dying young is very realistic. In the real world being the "Best" requires you to quit on the idea of living long.
