First, dude, thank you so much! We all have a song in our heart, but it take real courage to sing it and you are belting that motherfucker out, wheeeeww! I feel it man, thank you so freakin' much for that! I have a song also, I want the world to change for the better, I want to pay the desperate around me to come into the gym and work it out, I want to pay them to change their lives. What would our world look like if we actually invested in the people and built people at the bottom of life? Can one buy the change in our society we are so desperate for? I was 340lbs, hated life, hated people. I am now 220lb and learning to let my love shine. Is it a bad idea, to pay people for the hardest job they will ever undertake?
I am committed to my physical health. Every year was a new goal to smash: emotional, mental and spiritually. I faced them and crushed them. *still ongoing but not where I was. Also, I’m starting to get asked to speak of my business, journey, overcoming trauma, addiction and successes. Accept more speaking engagements or follow through with a podcast I started. 😅
I am currently with a partner that complains that I'm too busy all the time. They actually asked me earlier today why I want to have my own goals and dreams. I was dumbfounded that anyone would ever ask that of someone else. For the first time in my life I am actually achieving things I've only dreamed of. Starting my own business, going back to school, etc. I feel more alive than I ever have. I love growing as a person and transcending into a more fulfilling existence. I think it's crucial to have a solid support system with your significant other. I'm not even talking financially...but mentally and emotionally. So ty Ed and Tom for this incredible episode bc it's giving me a valuable lesson in knowing that Im not wrong for wanting to grow and blossom and achieve. I appreciate you both! Sending an abundance of prosperous and loving energy both your way! ❤
I am re-watching this, and I got so much out of watching twice! As a heavyset lady approaching middle age with a slight limp, i was in a wheelchair a few months ago, who is just now getting back into the gym that inspired me so much. I can go there now and think; if Ed Mylett were here he would be proud of me! Thanks so much for your heart of gold Ed!
Big Heart...Ed. 🌎 Thanks. I became a writer at age 61 in Bogotá, Colombia. It has been my way to overcome my reality as immigrant. It has been my way to protest elegantly and reach the World. The Venezuelan immigrant writer 🇻🇪
Absolutely FANTASTIC interview. I've seen Ed Mylett in the host seat many many times and had NO IDEA he had THIS much self development knowledge & experience to share himself. The concept that we're all already multiple versions of ourselves and need to control which one we decide to execute and when in order to serve a specific time & place best is a GEM. That and the physical trigger to an emotional state ... is like wow ... like just wow
Health is not something anyone around me will worry about. I m specialized in preventive medecin and have a gift to check the body and know what's going on with the nervous system and blood. I owe the gift to God, the training to a Korean Dr, who trained me. I m creating teamwork to come my way to create a health center in the future in the east coast to help as many people as possible. God is guiding me. If I share my story, people can't help but believe in God.
Thank you for this wonderful video. I have also created a morning routine before my day gets started. I wake up at 4am, listen to positive affirmations, then do 10 mins of qigong movements, then do a 30 min low weight workout, then do stretches. At 5am, everyone is awake and need me. That 1 hour to myself has made me a better person at work and in my home life for my son and husband. The days I sleep in and don't do this routine, my day is off and I am overwhelmed. This is so key.
"Stop try to convince everybody of what you're saying. That's not the threshold of being a good communicator. People do not need to believe what you're saying. They need to believe you believe what you're saying. And as along they believe you believe what you're saying you're an effective speaker." -Ed Mylett 🔥🔥🔥
Arghhhh I’m not even through the full episode. Ed is amazing!!! I can’t believe I’m actually taking notes. TOM!! Man oh man, I am soo flippen grateful for you on my journey. You played such a huge part. Now I’m getting awards/accolades. I wish I could share it. One day. When I get through a few more things. One day I’ll manifest meeting you and Lisa!
#FACTS -- Tom, you are the GOAT of Interviewers! (and I would know-- I go back beyond the days of Phil Donahue 😅)The hard work you put into Reseaching and really LISTENING to your guests and extracting every morsel of valuable information is Amazing! I discovered Ed Mylett on this channel years ago and have been a consummate fan ever since. He has such a genuine love of helping other people find success in their lives! Continued Peace, Blessings and Prosperity to you both!!
This is the best interview I have watched on your channel. I will repeat this episode because I noticed I need to start changing my mindset around the time of the day. Great explanation
Ed hitting fk'n Grand Slams again. When he talked about the lady at the gym, and when he and his wife would go to the rich neighborhood every couple months staying in the hotel, golfing and getting a massage just to feel what it felt like... Damn. Powerful.
This is such a great interview. So much powerful, life changing knowledge being dropped. And I just got chills..I constantly tell myself..Remember who you are ✨❤️
This interview is the best I have heard and touched me in such a profound way. 3 days ago I moved to Henderson, NV. Quit my job in California as a respiratory therapist to Pursue my dream of spinning fire, become a Realtor, and a massage therapist. This conversation resonated with how I have changed my life and the direction I’m headed. Thank you🙏🏼
I like that he touched on that emotional response that motivates a person to take action. Many ppl can’t connect to why they truly want to do the thing that they desire.
You and Ed are two amazing humans Tom. Your mindset, work ethic, and (most importantly) empathy, really are worth aspiring toward. Wish you and your families an abundant and blessed 2023!
Man, life has flipped course pretty hard for me. Just focused on surviving moment to moment. People knowing what I'm going through,, say just take it moment by moment. But I'm glad I just saw the question of goals for 2023. Its coming! Time to reorganize and get 2023 charged up!
Ed is right - Tom you are a phenomenal interviewer. I’ve thought that for quite a while. You ask such thought provoking and relevant questions to pull out the information your audience wants to hear.
I had never heard of Ed Myllet but I am a big fan now! Very inspiring and makes me want to live a different life now and pull the best versions of me out when I need them!!
I wasn’t an Ed Mylett fan, but after watching this I’m considering picking up a book or two of his. Great interview and great information here. Thanks, guys.
Thank you both for confirming that my insatiable drive to better myself is not abnormal! I’m so tired of being told/asked “why can’t you just be happy with who you are?” BECAUSE my life’s purpose is GROWTH!! I’m at my happiest when I’m moving forward. I just finished Ed’s book last month and have put into practice ‘just one more’ and am already seeing terrific results 🤍
Wow wow wow! You can change of you really want to ♥️ This gets me so fired up on a Monday morning!!!! Thank you so much for everything you do Tom, the guests you have on are truly inspirational ✌️
Another banger overflowing with inspiration! Thank you so much Tom and crew, we all need these messages as hard as they are to hear. Thank you so so much!!!!
This has been the single most important talk I've seen in my life. And I've watched a bunch and read a bunch. This was absolute gold. Thank you for the woman you've helped me become Ed. Forever grateful.
“I’m in a crises to get to the next version of me.” I think more people need that sense of urgency for self-development. I know I waited too long the last few years and got complacent even though my heart and intuition were screaming at me to break out and face some fears.
I love what you said about the woman in the wheelchair at the gym. That inspired me to keep on going to the gym myself as well as continue to work toward my goals.
I cannot over emphasize the importance of being an experienced trader to make good returns off the crypto space, else you'd join the group that call it a gamble. Those that understand the market trends always seem to be a step ahead and apply adequate measures to stay secure no matter the situation.
Listened to your book, The Power of One More. I'm in the gym now at 4am in the UK. Using the power of one more. Love you, but also hate you too (1 more squat!) 👊🏼
The woman in the wheelchair in the gym .. Omg .. speechless .. tears ! Thankyou Ed ❤️you remind me why we keep going and why interactions like that are the most beautiful heart opening, soul enriching, purposeful moments.. 🫶just wow 😭
Experiences with my wife and new born son. I love who I've become but like Ed said I want to evolve and continue to grow into the next version of myself that has more experiences with my family that still has a high standard and output at work. As always, amazing content! Tom and Ed are money together!
This video was powerful. Thank you for all the hard work and love you give to the world. You have definitely changed the world and continue to make this world a better place.
Man... this was really really good. Congratulations to you both. I am not surprise at all that you are so successful. I find you very inspiring!!! Keep it up guys!!!!
You gave me tears. I so not blending in Hollywood with my looks or even mission and I m scared of singing and have major phobia yet I charted with 4 singles recently and my commitment to healing others is my drive.
Not sure if you'll see this or not, but one small tip! Your interviews are on a lot of other social networks and in another so many channels as small segments! I've been trying to find some of those interviews with no luck! One thing you can do is show somehow on the screen or TV behind you guys the name of the person or name of the episode. Easier reach to channel means more benefits for us and you :)
I really like this guy. He’s like a total everyman. He makes me feel like if he can do it, I can do it, because it doesn’t take brilliance, but hard work and the right intentions. Fumble your way to victory!
I hear my whisper every day and it comes from the eyes of my 3 daughters. It says ‘ you cannot love your 3 daughter too much, you cannot lead by example too much, you cannot sacrifice for your daughters too much ‘
By December 2023, I will be acknowledged as one of the most impactful creatives to ever walk the earth and inspire 20,000,000 people who felt stuck, unheard, unseen and unloved as kids, to fulfill their potential
The Agyeman - you are a global phenomenon!!! Tom Bilyeu, thank you for this and many other interviews; and do make room to interview this young man someday soon. It will be grand!!!
First time for a long time, I’m listening the full content of a motivational interview (I used to listen a lot of these but at the end they start to seem all the same). Questions are great, answers too. Many thanks and great job!!! 👏🤗😄🙌🏼🚀🚀🚀
Hey Tom!! Just wanted to say thank you so much for your content!! I can’t explain how much it has helped me over the past two years!! Your content gives me so much hope and knowledge!! Thank you so much for Impact theory!!!!
