kinesiologykris.com/body-mecha...
Lets talk about levers, and how we use these levers in everyday life and inside our bodies to produce movement, increase force, and make directional changes. Levers are one of the simplest forms of a machine.
A lever is a simple machine that allows you to gain a mechanical advantage in moving an object or in applying a force to an object. there are 3 classes of levers, The 1st class lever, 2nd class lever, and 3rd class lever.
A lever is a simple machine that consists of 4 parts
The 1st part is The Fulcrum, known as the pivot point, axis, or balance point,
The 2nd part is the Resistance or load
The 3rd part is the Effort Force
The 4th part is the Lever Arm…. which can be divided into 2 parts, the Force Arm and The resistance arm.
Now the main function of a lever is to gain a mechanical advantage in moving an object or gaining force. Mathematically, the mechanical advantage is determined by dividing the Force Arm by the resistance arm.
You may also learn about Levers in the human body, Lever physics, Lever Biomechanics, Wheelbarrow levers, seesaw levers and the 3 classes of levers in this video

This is just to learn about levers for an exam or just to learn the 3 classes of levers. I'd definitely not use anything I say to program an exercise. You give me to much credit. I'm a dumb dumb 🤪 . Which is why I try to help other dumb dumbs understand concepts 💡

@@KinesiologyKris hahaha. Actually, the reason why I had asked you is because I'm preparing for my ACSM CPT exam and this topic had come up. For a moment it feels like I understood the concept and then the next moment it's totally destroyed.

@@KinesiologyKris I think it was kind of unnecessary (and incorrect as weight is not simply determined by what you eat, and this is a science video!). You could have used a kid playing with his/her parent or a friend having an early growth spurt. Really good explanation otherwise!!
@tankhurl4312
@tankhurl4312 3 года назад
@@MaytalMichelle He isn't scientifically incorrect about what food choices may lead to an individual towards obesity. Typically, the sweets (like Oreo's) are more calorie dense, and easier to over consume due to their higher palatability. Dipping them in grease (which is mostly pure fat which is 9 kiliocalories per 1g verses less calorie dense macronutriets such as carbohydrates and proteins that only yield 4 kilocalories per 1g.) Vegetables are extremely low calorie dense foods, with higher total volume. This mean you could fill your stomach with more (by volume) greens and veggies for less calories than Oreo's dipped in grease. At the end of the day, the laws of thermodynamics will always apply. You eat more energy (represented as kilocalories) than you expend, your body stores this excess as body fat.
@KinesiologyKris
