Ryan wasn’t just jab/left hooking like Mario said. He was putting out the left hand to invite the jab and then punching with Dev and catching him with the hook. Later he would hold out the left in devs face then shoot the right. THEN he went back to the hook later in the fight. There was strategy.

The so call sweet science - hit and not get hit strategy is this. 1) When the boxer on offense starts punching and swinging, the boxer who is on defense will immediately initiate and immobilize the attacker's offense by grabbing and holding. 2) when the boxer is on offense and chases the defense boxer around, the boxer on defense will jab and throw one hit pot shots to win on points.

Vasily Lomachenko deserves a rematch. Saying that Haney deserves a rematch with Garcia is like saying that Broner deserves a rematch with Maidana. Ryan Garcia would have to be the definition of a fôöł to give Haney a rematch. Rematches are a waste of time, we need different fight combinations. Boxers rarely fight now a days.Theres exceptions ofcourse like the Loma Haney fight.

Ryan made more money in his fight against Tank and Haney in a non-title fight than most boxers fighting for a title. Titles don’t matter. Not only that but you have to PAY to hold onto these title belts, why should boxers have to pay to keep their belts anyways? Belts don’t matter. Making the fights that people actually want to watch matters.

I love you guys but Gainey throws the jab and clinches and he got counter on his first long jab and I think he also maybe took a little fear after he hit Ryan his best shot and he got mad instead of hurt. Let’s remember Ryan was given 5 weeks of a training camp boxing camps are 6-8 weeks even 10 week. Terrence Crawford says he starts at 10 but not with Bomac he just doing thing himself prior to meeting bomac at 6-8. Reality when has Devin fought with adversity or disadvantage such as height, reach, or weight and people are still questioning how does he put on 25 to 30 lbs??? Is he using IV???

Everyone forgets the Diego vs Castillo first fight , Diego got knocked out twice or maybe more and spit his mouth piece out twice he should have lost the first one as well . The 2nd fight Castillo said fuck that for cheating and came in heavy . Devin was looking good against smaller fighters Regis ,Loma and kamboozis or whatever his name is .

Because Ryan agreed to the terms for Tank. He chose to drain himself to 136 and to a rehydration clause BEFORE the weigh-in. He didn't even bother trying to make weight. It is a huge deal to not make weight. But at the end of the day no one will remember that Ryan missed weight
