The 3 Reasons Why Your Cat Always Acts Like They're STARVING 

Every time I go into the kitchen she thinks it’s time to be fed. Edit, in 2024 she’s now a picky eater and I have to coax her to eat.

I've fed my cat for years on a schedule. Food is broken up into 4 portions a day. He never learned and continues with the demands. He starts at 6 on the morning and will not quit. Then again he is very food motivated. I can just put a little tuna juice on a pill and he'll eat it.

They may act like they're starving when we know they're not; but they can truly be miserable if they go more than 2 hours between meals. I can't stand to see my cat be miserable.

Dawg my cat will eat his whole bowl in one sitting sharing it down like he never eat before eat everything even the crumbs and still act like he’s starving to death I don’t know what to do to fix him he’ll go around the house trying to eat random stuff like he is starving to the point he’ll eat anything just to eat but he’s not he’s very pluffy let’s say we only feed him twice a day one at breakfast and the other at dinner we had to separate the cats food from the other cuz mr piggo will eat everything and still act like he’s dying even tho he’s clearly not

"Not fresh enough for their standards" Cats I've known: Literally go right for the day-old pizza on the counter from the night before despite a freshly-filled bowl on the ground.

Lol mine is just like that but, If you strictly ignore them (takes time) they eventually give up.

My cat is manipulative. She demands both milk and catfood. If I give her milk , she will just ignore her food. If I give her catfood , she will demand for milk. I tried to ignore her , but she starves herself. So , I give in to her demand and give her both....atleast she isn't starving anymore

i cook my cat chicken and i have to blend it into small ass pieces with my fingers or else he wont it and meow like " hey can u blend it more!!" hahaha oh and he like farmer jhins classic ham hahahahaha , hes to spoil and i get mad cause when i give stray cats some dey cracker food he will rarely eat .. he would chase them away and start eating it, im like BEBO!!! you rarely eat it and now out of a sudden u like it hahahhha

The whiskers-hitting-the-bowl 'reason' seems the most valid; so keeping at least one kibble deep seems important . 'Nala' meows when "there's a hole in my dish!". 'Course she's louder c. an hour before dinner (wet food!) time.

I have two cats. One of them was really eager to eat all the time but the other one didn’t. He was ok with his meals. Buut now he’s copying his younger brother bad habits and wants food all the time too 😣😣😣😣😣

None of that happens with me. I give 'em small can of wet food for breakfast. I leave 'em meow mix the rest of the time. I give 'em treats about once or twice a day, I don't why they love treats so damn much, but they do.

We have fed all of our cats dry food only---they have never known that wet food even exists. We keep food in the bowl all the time, and we never have these issues.

Both my cat Jacob and my friend's cat Millie, are both finicky eaters. I give Jacob about a cup of dry food every day and try to keep him satisfied, he doesn't like wet food. While Millie on the other hand, preferably prefers wet food other than dry food. Especially when she was pregnant with her 6 kittens, she'd eat about twice as much food but my friend does her best to keep that at a minimum.... At least until her kittens were born.

thank you so much for the video. i have been feeding my cat in a tight, tall bowl. just switched to a wider one since I get this feeling she was constantly asking for food because its uncomfortable for her to reach the bottom of the bowl.

I feed my cat like a million times a day and it doesn’t stop until she gets temptations. It’s insane. I don’t dare give her chicken or anything like that. I can’t bring chicken in the house for myself. Ugggh
