One of the most underrated co-op games of all-time is Goof Troops for the Super Nintendo. Before Halo and other games on this list, Goof Troops was the first game where two players (Goofy and Max) co-operate in the game.
*Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots, Tak: The Great Juju Challenge, Resident Evil 5 & 6, It Takes Two, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Party 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 & Super Mario Party, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, Fire Emblem Warriors, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Cuphead, Fortnite, Minecraft, Baldur's Gate 3 and Two Brothers* are all THE Greatest Co-Op Games I've ever played with my siblings, cousins and friends throughout the years!

It Takes Two is hands down without a doubt the best co-op game and one of the best games ive ever played. Its one of those rare experiences where a game stays fresh throughout its entirety, Its constantly switching up and implementing crazy new level ideas, And pulling it off soo well. I cannot recommend this game enough. Its hard not to gush over it, You just have to play it for yourself to witness why its so freaking special.
Stardew Valley and Dont Starve Together are arguably much better Co-Op games. Terraria deserved to be on this list too and the same goes for Human Fall Flat and Gears of War. It Takes Two is without a doubt an amazing game, but theres other very strong competitors for the title of 'best' co op game.
@@Zechlo Strongly disagree tbh. I've played all those games, LOVED Stardew Valley, LOVED Terraria, But It Takes Two was the only one that felt truly special. Like for my taste, It's in a league of its own. It stands toe to toe against some of the greatest single player games I've played, Sadly I cannot say the same for any other Co-op games I've played because they aren't the same kind of Co-op experience as It Takes Two. Like I get what your trying to say, Gears of War for example, Great game, But it's not even in the same ballpark as It Takes Two if we're comparing cause it's a totally different type of game. For what It Takes Two sets out to do, It's not only the most creative, Inventive and epic entirely focused couch Co-Op title ever made, It's arguably one of the most constantly creative, Awe inspiring games ever made.
a way out is also made by the same company its amazing too, the ending is the only bad part and the game is only like 7hours long too but man i love that game if it was longer and had a better ending it woulda been better then it takes two me and my girl loved both
This list has 30 games and somehow Saints Row 2, Resi 5/6, Dead Island, Cod Zombies, Kane & Lynch 1/2 and Wallace & Gromit Curse of the Wererabbit aren’t part of it 😢
@@newgameaaaa I’d be surprised if you’ve not played call of duty zombies before. The one I’d recommend most is definitely Saints Row 2. Single player can be kinda boring but if you play it with a friend there’s enough goofy stuff you can do to entertain yourselves for a while
I don't know if there's already a video on this, but I'd love one on the best local multiplayer games (whether co-op or competitive) where only one system is needed.
I could put together a great list, but it would take a long time. Off the top of my head that I just recently played with my brother New Super Mario bros U, Cobra Kai and Dynasty warriors 5. Games I played a long time ago Zombies ate my Neighbors, Kirby Super Star, Xmen Legends 1,2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Timesplitters 2, Phantasy Star Online. There are so many out there.
I hope there are people in the comments who list so many other coop games that are not on this list because I love playing coop games with my brother. I'm actually looking for a list of all coop games across all system, but all I could find are top lists.
A good thing ! 🙂 If I may, there is a site especially about cooperative games, named "Co-optimus", where you can select by platform, criterias, etc. You may find interesting titles ! 🙂
Unravel 2, Two Brothers and It Takes 2 are the BEST Co-Op games in my opinion! Hey I really LOVE a 2D Metroidvania Platformers would you make a video about of "the 10 BEST Metroidvania games"? That would be so AWESOME thank you and happy weekend everyone! 😊❤
Best cooperative games in my personal opinion: Halo MCC Mortal Kombat Shaolin monks Gears of war trilogy Saints row 2 Splinter cell blacklist Left 4 dead 1 and 2 GTA San Andreas
@@newgameaaaa if you look for the 2 players icon in San Andreas, you be able to play local co-op with a second PS2 controller. Try to look it up and see it.
I would actually like to know what bad coop games are because I think I like them all or there are at leastsome good parts to them. A game just came to mind as I was writing this. Gauntlet seven sorrows was kind of boring.
a few of my friends are so negative that they hate games like lethal company. they are always looking for egames like remnants 2 that is progressive instead of simple content that creates content with the people you play with. they remind me of the anime where he's trying to kill himself 24/7 yet to scared to do it because all he does is talk. as for phasmophobia i don't think any of us was able to understand what to do on the game with the tools we had. some of the same friend didn't want to take the time to learn what they are and do that we never continue to play it with the lack of help it gives compared to lethal company. he can take the time to learn stardew valley and all the things it have but nothing first person.
My favorite experiences with coop: Guitar Hero 3 Overcooked all you can eat Zombie Vikings Stubbs the zombie Portal 2 Rayman legends Castle Crashers Resident Evil 6
Yeah that's what pisses me off about mojoplays is that they don't care about split screen multiplayer and local co-op. They care so much about modern games and live service.
