In those rest rooms with the campfire they should add a dummy to test single target dps, so you can see what accessories in your build are best to use

Because the game tries to give you items that it thinks could be good for the current build, you're missing a lot of items that have to do with curses. The cursed run must happen!!

That, and with passives like the "no crit but you always roll your max" the direct DPS impact of curses is pretty much negated

There is actually a piano that grants 2x attack speed if you stand still Combined with the trait that gives 200% attack damage for attack speed you would do 6x damage just by that. I once had such a build and pretty much one shot the last Angel Boss.

I don't know why I get smug vibes from him so much. He doesn't understand all the nuance of this game like he thinks he does, and he's always overconfident and crap-talking things that would actually be useful for him. Would be nice if, after playing this game as much as he has, if he would actually learn all the mechanics and everything about it, rather than just halfass reading something and saying "I don't care" in such a "disrespectful" way.. after saying it's "the best action roguelike out there". Oh really? Sure seems like it with the fundamental lack of respect you show it.

Sifd math is thinking 36% attackspeed therefore damage is better than dealing back 100% of the damage you dealt after 2 attacks.

the thing was when he gets 10% attack speed its multipliied by 200% as damage to the weapon used and he thought 10% attack speed is 10% damage is funny

it's 50% movement speed that give 50% attack speed that transform into 100% damages that's the buff given by the sword he used most of the run, with sutch a buff, I was certain he'd wouldn't find a better weapon before the end of the game and find the zweihander right before the boss ^^'
