My previous comment didn't show up... anyway, I really appreciate that you're creating the atmosphere with the volume shader. That's how I prefer to do it as well... I mean, after all the atmosphere is some kind of volume, isn't it? 😁 I've seen so many tutorials on planets where they are mixing diffuse and transparent shader with a fresnel node... I don't like it.
One of my favorite tutorial people is giving away a 3090 TI: 😃 Entry requires submission of space themed art, my favorite subject and specialty: 😍 Only people in EU / UK can enter due to shipping: 😢 Anyway, I love you channel and your tutorials/walkthroughs very much & I hope I can get in on the next one. I look forward to seeing what people come up with!
I live in Russia, but I suppose they wouldn't ship it there either. And I *JUST* got an RTX 3060 TI to try rendering some nebulas, can you believe that? So I officially can say "Luckily, RTX" now XD
Damn!😔 Am from Africa so i don’t qualify💔…buh no hard feelings bcoz even if i win it, i have an old laptop and i can’t afford a pc that i can put the 3090…anyway lol✌🏾💕
I know I am outside of the shipping area, but what if I payed for the shipping. Could I get my submission to qualify that way? Sounds like an awesome challenge! I would really like to participate if possible.
Great! I've actually made a small project that I think fits the description. Do you just want the video file or is the Blender project file needed as well?
Hey man, great competition. Keen to give it a shot. Quick one: is the discord server down at the moment? Getting a Page not Found after I accept the invite. I imagine you've got a tonne of new members.
