These are the 4 RC simulators I use to fly and practice:
Picasim: free and accurate simulation. www.rowlhouse.c...
Realflight 9.5 - Realistic, huge collection of RC aircraft including drones, helicopters and more.
Aerofly RC - Also realistic, drones, helicopters and more.
Wings - Designed for RC FPV wing racing.

I got to say coming from the very first Real Flight in 1997 and the cost of it now there really isn't any excuse for the crappy graphics. Every version has pretty much been the same simulator with added planes. Great vid though. Thanks.

i wish realflight wasnt so overpriced, tbh the whole market for rc flight sims sucks, very low standards (especially for 3d fields) and very high prices

FMS is free but very basic. Helped me a lot though. FSONE is now also free. Clearview is $40 and is keeping me very busy and happy (but maybe I have low standards regarding the graphics).

Hi dear friend, how are you? I installed the simulator you recommended. Can you please recommend me a USB controller? that fits the software?? So that I will be able to fly drones with him in the simulator?

Thanx. I can t find any possibilities to zoom on the plane, as in Real Flight. It s a big deal when u start to learn 3D. Any advices ?

Hi! Frankly speaking, I started with FMS on pc when I bought E-Sky cheap tx sim for pc about 10 buck. That's all to it. It's free and really love it.

FMS is still free and it still works with Win10 (in July 2023). It helped a lot.

FMS still works on Windows 10 (as of July 2023) and it still is free. Kinda basic and you cannot change the wind conditions but it teaches the basics. FSONE is free now as well but it took me a while to get my old 90s transmitter to work. It is great if you are not looking to fly many basic planes. I was only happy with a few of the offered aircraft but it might work for those who already have great piloting skills. Clearview is $40, a trial version can be downloaded before you buy it. It works on my basic computer, offers plenty of planes, helis and landscapes, the wind conditions can be adjusted, and the physics and graphics are good enough. It will work for me for a long time to come. Maybe one day I will own a computer that can run Aerofly. Only if the flight physics are better though as I don't care about the background. It is all a blur when you are flying a model anyway, even in real life.

Clear view is very unrealistic
@my_dear_friend_
@my_dear_friend_ 10 месяцев назад
@@calebrosenhauch4296 - It depends a lot on the airplane. Some are ridiculously unrealistic and I removed them. Others feel ok. You can get many additional planes for free and if they fly to my liking, I keep them. Additionally, you can modify individual planes and their behavior and sort them into your preferred categories. I would love to try a higher end sim one day to compare. Trial versions are rarely available though (which was another benefit of Clearview for me) and I wont buy software I cannot try out first.

Thanks for the vid - nice comparison. Would be nice if you included timecodes in the description, as it's a little hard to follow which sim you're on

If you want to be an instructor you need to tell people how to hook up their transmitters. That's the first big hurdle.

Ì am sorry to see you did not include Phoenix. Although after the udpates the models do not fly very well and their physical settings have to adjusted. Once they are adjusted to real life VG's and steering surfaces deflection angles, it is an awesome simulator. A ppm signal from the TX is needed, usually provided by the trainer port. Very cheap and easy to add the needed hardware to fly with you own TX... AD.... it is FREE as well.

In my opinion VR is essentiall to rc sims. You need the depth perception to really learn RC flying.

@@terjeoseberg990 I don't have this simulator yet but I know what he's talking about. I upgraded to a 3070 a year ago and I can't run some of my old call of duty games like MW2. I'm sure this would work with a 1,000 series graphics card. .it's not like it won't work,. You just have to disable some stuff on your card and it will work. Yet I have no clue how to do it lol

I use my tx16s mk2 from radiomaster for liftoff fpv sim, can i use it as a joystick in all of these? I heard the older realflight versions required their own controller

You can, if you use very old version of real flight yes, you'll need their controller, but new versions work with any usb radio.

I have flown only the Aeroscout for real but even the most basic sim helped me to learn to react better. I started with FMS. Free, works on basic computer. Good enough. Currently upgraded to Clearview. $40, also works with my old computer, and more options.
