These are scams. If u want someone to invest for u, contact a professional and check for proper licensure with the state they are in. Day trading is not investing though. Anyone on here trying to tell you to have someone trade for u is a scammer
I started investing in the stock market because of dividends. What matters, in my opinion, is that if you invest and earn more money in addition to dividends, you will be able to live off of dividends without selling. It implies that you can pass that on to your children, giving them a head start in life. I've invested over $600k in dividend stocks over the years; I continue to buy more today and will continue to do so until the price lowers even further.
It's always inspiring to hear from a veteran investor who has weathered the storm and come out on top. When your portfolio turns from green to red, it might be unsettling, but if you have invested in great companies, you should just keep adding to them and stick with your plan.

Trading less, not more, literally changed my life. I trade on the daily time frame only and I only allow 1 trade a day. Very rarely 2. And my secret is that I don't even trade every day! Realistically it doesn't even come to 5 trades a week!!! I only started to trade like this 6 weeks ago and I'm up like 50% from principle. Consistently, I make maaaaaaybe 1-3% a trade. It took me 3 years of learning to get here.
True! I scalp the 1min EURUSD, using just ONE rule-based setup and only trade for 2 hours a day. Max 5 trades, R.R of 2:1 and....at 2% daily drawdown I close down my system. Some days I do 1 trade, some days none, some days 5. But this - after trading 15 pairs for 4 different setups for 2 years - made my consistency/PL explode! In fact, trading itself actually became a boring task.....I find backtesting new ideas far more exciting!
@mk private I can absolutely relate to your backtesting comment. That's where the real fun is. I love paper trading too. The real shit is actually so...uniform. what's you're indicator setup if I may ask? I use 10 ma/Ema, 50 ma/ema macd, rsi. Nothing is better than s/r and price action though-indicators come second. I accept 1:1 r:r NEVER less with 2% total account drawdown (tbh my trades are usually 2:1 or more on average). I trade etfs and I admit I use leverage but just 2x or 3x. Right now, I'm focused on natural gas and gold. Also I learned to never watch the news ever.

Your videos are the best. It's like attending a university lecture or seminar. This is how trading information should be. There are too many RU-vid trading accounts that give the basics but gloss over the granular technical details that you should be thinking about and looking for. I traded with a small account for 2 years without seeing consistent gains. However I wrote down and followed a few plays that I learnt by watching your videos. After taking a year off, I have been making consistent green days in the market by only taking trades that meet my entry pre-requisite checklist like a pilot getting ready to take off (to use your analogy). If it isn't perfect I sit out. Now I see that even on days where I don't engage the market, there are opportunities to make money. And it will probably take another year before I am consistent enough to start scaling. Your videos are gold. I'd honestly like to donate or contribute in any way I can if possible. "When the student is ready, the teacher appears"
My take away is this: 1. Reduce risk, partially by having a stop loss and partially by following the trend. (Money management) 2. Look at multiple timeframes to confirm the trend. 3. Don't go too fast, be patient (don't do 1 min charts) 4. Increase your odds by looking for signs that in the future it will go 2+ times what your stop loss is. 5. If you win 50% of the time you can make money because you are making 2+ times what your stop loss is. I haven't started trading yet, but so far, from the videos, this is what I've taken away. I used to gamble on roulette a lot. It has a similar feel. Unlike roulette, this feels like you can get an edge over the house. Going to start by simming and try to make good habits early.
I've watched a TON of trading videos. It's very apparent who's more concerned with actually teaching trading concepts so others can get better vs those who're making videos for clickbait engagement to improve their ad revenue while teaching you absolutely nothing. Love your stuff, Jared. Please keep it up.

2-3 years "even then, Its good at a low level". Well thats hopeful. Have been trading on my own in the past two weeks. I'm seeing success at a low level and shocked at what I'm doing. I may not be done with trading. Maybe I just needed a very long break.
How do you find stock to trade? Is there a website or a place where you find news? Do you have only trade stock that has a certain volume? also what is the best brokerage to start day trading?
Some guy on twitter said that a lot of Jared's ideas are wrong sometimes. I wanted to chime in and say "It's not that Jared's wrong, it's just the market is always right.".
Extraordinarily clear and I look forward to applying these principles…the more examples and bar by bar analysis, w your analogies, the better. It’s really helpful when u give these moves and patterns some personalities.
