Games ending in scholar's mate are quite common among beginners but it's not too difficult to defend from it. In this video, Daniel is going to show how.
In chess, the scholar's mate is the checkmate achieved by the following moves or similar:
1. e4 e5
2. Qh5 Nc6
3. Bc4 Nf6??
4. Qxf7#
Scholar's mate is sometimes referred to as the four-move checkmate, although there are other ways for checkmate to occur in four moves.

1:35 'queen f6 blocks the knight from moving' that's not true. 2:20 'we are unable to take the pawn' is also not true.

1:35 "Knights on the rim are dim." d3 or d4 would either force the Knight back or be taken by the Bishop. And that's if you decide to not block Black's Queen/Bishop from developing. 2:20 Literally explains why you can't take the pawn, unless you want to give up a free queen.

That’s a mistake moving the queen out early.
