me: recieves 35 lines from wumbo, 20 lines from a single quad from doremy, gets sent 10 pcs from smolfeesh, and recieves 69 lines from diao downstack, thats what it feels like when i get into quickplay
If you mean 4:14, wumbo was stalling because his opponent could set up a tetris + tspin in the next 3 moves. He predicted that garbage was coming, so he held off to block it.
Hey, wumbo, if you see this, it seemed like at many moments, you could’ve combo’d into a t spin, but choose to ignore for a couple more lines. Is that for the video or is it actually more efficient that way? Because doesn’t a t spin on a high combo send like 12 lines?
I think it was to be able to continue the combo. At least in the amount of time it takes wumbo to process the current piece he has, what he holds and what is coming next in the present architecture. 4-wide is made for combos and this (self-imposed) challenge was to maintain it the best he can. Maybe he could've gotten in a t-spin or two more, but that's not what he was focused on.
