In this video we finish up our 1949 GMC Roadster pickup by getting all our gauges to work, installing carpet and upholstering the seat. Still have a few finishing touches left but we’re done for now.

I’ve been watching this channel from the beginning. This build straddles both phases of your progress. It should give all of us inspiration to appreciate that even though life throws us a lot of curves we can still achieve much by staying positive. I admired how you performed in that small shop and knew if you could do that great things were about to happen. Nice you figured out the wiper switch. I tried recording while doing electrical. You are right, boring. Nice watcing the build from start to finish. Turned out awesome. I used aluminum truck box caps for floor trim.someone gave me some brite-tread caps. Turned out nice.

As you know, this is by far my favourite build of yours. I comment all the time that it's my truck lol. If you ever want to take a road trip to Southern Ontario, please plan to go to one of a few great car shows here. Motorama, The Jalopy Jamup, or Sledsnorth. I would absolutely love to see my truck in person. The only thing I would add to the roadster is some white scallops and some pinstriping. Great job Brent!!!
