The huge problem for someone who likes highlander decks is plague death knight. Highlander effects will not trigger because having multiple plagues in your deck of the same name counts as duplicate and it really ruins the experience

@@adamstratton683yeah no, it's the powercreep, as an example, Odyn can OTK easily, while the new legendary card is pretty slow and his excavate legendary treasure isn't as worth excavating. I mean that's why is no surprise the best new decks so far don't run on excavate or highlander.

@@steveluna1627The numbers also suggest so, outside Highlander Shaman, Dragon Druid (Not reno dragon, just normal dragon), and Scamlock every good deck existed before this expansion with next to no additions. The reason for this is simple: TITANS is very overtuned as an expansion. The only way to fix this is to nerf a lot of the Titan cards. Also wouldn't hurt to nerf the Board buff Paladin got or Ignis weapons.

I have a suggestion you forgot: PURE AGGRO PALADIN. It's the current number 2 deck because it punishes well both Reno and Snakelock; it turns out they can't counter aggro with 8 mana Reno if you are beating those decks on your turn 7. You know the deal, summon great cheap minions and some dudes, buff them with divine Shield and holy spells to get huge buffs later on, and if everything else fails you still have the countess to scam some games, as well as horn + For Quel'Thalas. No lawyer, no purator, not a lot of draw, and only 2 spells of removal, just tons of tempo because that's the only way you beat Snakelock.

@@Thelius42I mean, you can add Blue-eyes white dragon as another cheap Divine shield, after all it fits the deck quite nicely (Cheap, Paladin, divine shield, Holy synergy), while Holy Cowboy is a good replacement for the dudes and you can switch Crusader with Deputization Aura. That's a variant of the deck who is as good as the original, just taller but thinner which doesn't seem to have particular benefits or issues, more like a meta call.

Having a lot fun and very good stats with a Reno DH in wild : Bunch of tech cards like Loatheb, Mel'tranix or Okani to annoy the opponent, Polkelt to draw Hero Reno cuz he's too good and Hero Kurtus for an OTK with expendable performers and felfire deadeye

I made a ( No Reska or paw maw) Reno/Rainbow/Plague/Renathal Dk , haven't lost a mirror ( vs. Reska) and vs Druid/Warrior/Warlock/Rouge (14 Games total). Nice games but very close. Edit: Naga DH is not Fun and 100% useless , I can't explain myself your recommendation...

Ive actually had some fun with Highlander Hunter. My big payoffs are lorthemar and if i haven't played the Highlander yet, it gets huffed hy lorthermar and just clears the whole board and play the new elemental beast legendary that summons my 16/16 king krush for free or my 20/20 king mukula. It's pretty funny

I kept trying to work with dragon Druid, but kept losing to stupid stuff like Snek and DH. Ended up just going back to the same old arcane Hunter I used last expansion, and it worked better than everything else I had tried. I really hate how the answer to most annoying things (OTK/Combo decks, Snek, etc...) is to just kill the enemy faster. Feels like being forced into playing something more aggro.

I made it to legend pretty quickly with aggressive sludge/fatigue warlock that uses no excavates, it had positive win rate against about everything else except the buff paladin. It was especially crushing all those slow excavate warlocks, azerite snake doesn't look that impressive if they die on turn 5-6.

Just remember: since Dragon Druid will be 50% of the decks on ladder after today, your Reno can take away their Rheastrasa location as well. Sometimes they just concede after you cancel their value plan.

@@Brisingrr_ which is my point 3 years ago with barrens launched with the rewards track everyone was skeptical abt the rewards track as blizzard took away the 100 gold cap, with a lower exp gain rate per hr. Zeddy posted a video abt it back then he obviously made it public abt his discontent and ppl shared his emotions, blizzard had to double back on that and change the exp gain rate. But now zeddy is sponsored by blizzard i fear that blizzard may take advantage of this and go back to their usual selves.

Been grinding DK. 18-15 with plague/excavate. It doesnt feel strong. Negative winrate with 35 card rainbow. This is with 11 star bonus. If DK has a strong deck, it's not one of these.

I’ve played a tonne (maybe 50 games or so) but I’ve not yet had Reno played against me. I only faced reno decks a couple of times and they just didn’t draw him. Best game was when I stole a paladin’s order in the court using rogue (got the priest quickdraw minion). He never played played Countess, making me think that he never drew reno 🤣

so this new expaNSION JUST OUT ,,, you advise pple not to craft anything because the META has to settle and theres lots of interesting possibilitys ,, yet you instantly call for a nerf to a card , without taking your own advice and waiting till everything settles down etc ,, you call for it and others who just read its text jump on the bandwagon and start whinging and cryting as usual ,, all this before in your own words the META SETTLES DOWN . well its still not settled down and theres a good few decks that played properly beat that warlock deck easily ,, so nerfing that card just kills another type of interesting deck ,, ive noticed this is something you do regularly , so if you dont like a card , or your fed up of facing the same deck even tho its beatable , or your bored n fed up like you looked in your theory stream event you use your platform to get others to pressure for nerfs which ultimately come ,, because they think that popular streamers saying this must be right ,,, well congrats on getting what you want again , and ruining yet another warlock deck because you dont like it . its very beatable if only the meta had , had time to stabalise mmmmm .........

I’ve been playing Big Highlander Control Priest. I’ve been snowballing wins since platinum 10 and now I’m at diamond 5. I’ve got persistent answers, ETC with Steamcleaner, Viper, and Additional silence, including the same cards in the deck. Theotar has stolen Reno, Azerite Snake, Rheastrasza, or the hunter Titan, also using thief cards for value. Discovery and card draw is essential. Got three different locations with the 4/5 zombie that discovers a copy in deck for more utility. It’s been absolute domination. I’m feeling good this month.
