I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a *esluxs* and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. It's very annoying. one time a woman walked up to me and actually asked me if my bag was "real". after spending almost 2K on a bag and being asked that question was so offensive i stopped carrying them. People look more at the person carrying the bag and assume wrongly whether is real or fake. it is extremely annoying
I have two pre-loved*preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
I've never seen or heard of the unpronounceable tooshy bag before! Now cannot be unseen! 😆 I'd go for a Picotin, they look cute, and the fact they're so lightweight is a big plus. I'm enjoying this series, Lisa. 💕
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for*preluxz* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me

I hate playing games and will only buy what I truly love… so I’ll likely have to turn to the resale market when I decide to splash out for it. Well since the only thing I really still want is a B25 in rose pourpre, it would have to be pre-loved. I see them occasionally but it’s something I’ll think about in 2025 or 2026. But I definitely agree that the market has come down a lot

@lewistracy3061 that’s a hard question. I love both but for different reasons. I like the 25 in the city because it’s lighter. If I was still in a car environment, I would say 30. Probably not very much help. I’ve heard they actually have some birkins on display now in Denver. I’d ask your SA to try them so you can see which you prefer.

I love your Hermes handbag collection, Lisa. It warms my heart to hear you talk about and share your memories of the handbags that David gave you. I was thinking “awww!” If I could get some Hermes items, I would definitely start with a Kelly or two (28 or 30). I would also love a Picnic Birkin like Meredith’s but in one of her favorite colors Barenia Faubourg with gold hardware. I would love a large Garden Party in pink or denim shade. I would love to have a Bollide like Jessie from Jessie’s Style (not sure what size) and a Lindy in Gold, Nata, Gert Cypres or Rose Secura (look at me learning different Hermes colors, lol). This maybe technically 6 since I said a Kelly or two, but since we’re suspending disbelief, I’m going there. This was fun, Lisa. 😁
Suspension of disbelief, id like a mini Kelly and a birkin 35/40. I’d want either in a more autumnal color or a blue. Realistically I’m probably only ever buying a Kelly belt from the brand.
It’s funny, how we have the same Hermès bags Lisa! Oh gosh, just 5 Hermès, it’s hard, it’s my favorite brand! I would say Birkin 30 noir for sure and a Picotin 18 or 22, I love both. Definitely an Evelyne PM or TPM, I love both also, a kelly 25 retourne, only retourne just because it’s more convenient and more my style. I’m adding a mini Lindy, I just find this bag so useful especially when I’m traveling.
