Yes I have recently started to dye yarn at home - solids or minimal variation I plan on and presently working out to be fun and economical....well eventually, when I recoup the outlay for the dyeing equipment and dyes ha. Loving the Cloud sweater so far - just beyond split-for-sleeves. You will have finished your Clover Tee by now! and blocked. I hope you are happy with it. Hi, Bobbi! First I have to tell you how much I love your channel because that's more important than anything else. I always look forward to seeing it because you just brighten my day with your enthusiasm for the craft and no matter what kind of day I'm having, I always feel better after watching your video. Hi Bobbi- I’m down in south Florida and you have inspired me to use more cotton based fiber choices…I really hadn’t used those types of yarn before, but now I do!!! And it’s like a whole new world for me!!!!! So many of my knits (all the wools) sit in my closet on display until I can wear them a couple days in the winter and when we go on vacation (we usually go to colder places since we live in such a warm climate). Now I can actually wear my knits!!! And you inspired me to do a deep dive into the Ranunculus rabbit hole😂 I live your pattern choices and your reviews. Thank you ❤

Hello Cari! I know what you mean! Cotton yarns are a whole new world! About a year ago, I was watching An Italian Knitter podcast. youtube.com/@anitalianknitter?si=VuGm4kNgpooXu0ut Francesca was always knitting with Sandnes Garn Line yarn. She even knits her long sleeve sweaters with the Line yarn so that told me this must be a great cotton yarn. It is so hard to find a good cotton yarn. I’ve heard of knitters when using interchangeable circulars and knitting flat, put the recommended needle on the side that is going to knit the knits and put a smaller needle on the side of the cord that will be knitting/sizing the purls. That way you aren’t drastically changing your gage, just neatening up your purls. Hope this helps

I always come away feeling inspired after watching your podcasts. So many lovely patterns and yarn choices. I have been interested in trying the linen quill for quite a while, but have worried that it might be too scratchy. The rosewood colour is beautiful though, so might have to give it a try.

I can’t wait to try some of these. I wish I wish I was rich enough to afford all the linens and silks but when you knitting in 3X to 5X it takes a lot of yarn. I particularly like anything with the high neck because I have a open heart surgery scar

Hello Bobbi, Thank you for another lovely podcast. I knitted 2 Caidree tank tops. Love them! I made an Anker tee last year, but my neck opening is way bigger than yours. I like yours better. If I were to make it again, I would choose a needle size smaller than what the pattern called for and just use the long tail CO.

Another wonderful podcast Bobbi! That Clover Top is lovely and looks perfect with that yarn. I hadn’t seen that Cloud Sweater by PetiteKnits before but I’m thinking that might have to get on my needles asap! I’m currently knitting with wool so linen is definitely calling as the temperature climbs here in Ontario. Thanks for the great ideas ❤

Hey, Bobbi, i am knitting on the SABAL top as I am watching you! MY LYS was sponsoring a MAL and I had some of their yarn. I am making mine in a DK and plan on using it for late summer and fall. I didn’t realize about the sleeve detail coming along down the side seams but it is looking so nice. I hope your next yarn selection will work out for you. Hello Susan! I bet your Sabai top will be beautiful! I really like the construction of the Sabai with the shoulder detail and the side seam detail. I’ll give it another try possibly with a merino and cotton blend yarn. Guess what! I made a big mistake. It’s not my 3 year podiversary, it’s my 2nd podiversary. Oops!! Hi! So many great knits so little time! I am working on the Glide Tanktop using Junction Fibermill's Making Tracks Sport in the colorway Alpenglow. I love the fabric and I think it will also make a good vest. I would love to knit the Clover Tee next, and I simply must try the Linen Quill you love so much. Thank you and happy knitting!
