If this anyone helps, if I want to make money, I do shoreline pmc runs, for the stashes and for farming Scavs, like Jesse said, learn a good route for any spawn at this map, you will find a TON of useful items for your hideout, for quests or to sell on the fleamarket, and the stashes are in 9 of 10 times unlooted, cause everyone is running to the resort. Make yourself comfortable with the locations in offline mode and then grind it like you are Tony Hawk!

My main strat is going in with a pm, spare mag, pst ammo, green helmet, the ear murdering headset and a scav backpack or similar size. I bring in every single high value key for reserve and just go directly for either armouries or marked rooms depending on distance. I make tons of money, while risking little. Most people don't pick up any of the stuff I bring in, so it almost all comes back as insurance if I die, and I do die, but once you get proficient in your routes, you can avoid most players. You can also just go for the pm kills, which feel amazing pulling off lmao

Interchange secret computer rooms and back of goshen. You can fill a backpack with everything that spawns back there and you don't often run into a ton of PMCs. If you are feeling cheeky, you can push up secret stairs to hit techlite late and pick up everything the early rush players leave behind.

Great video Jesse, but I feel like these videos don't cover the main key to making more money in Tarkov. In my opinion, after teaching, and watching tons of players, most players could be making waaay more money without changing anything really. You don't have to change your playstyle, map, loot runs, survival rate. The only thing you have to do is understand how, and what to loot. A lot of this comes down to knowing how much items sell for/cost, and understanding per slot value. I see tons of streamers, and players making poor decisions when looting that cost them lots of money in raids, and by simply understanding how/what to loot, most players would see a MASSIVE uptick in their ruble count. If anyone is interested in more details on this, let me know and I'd love to explain it more in depth.

Craft Powercords. Components are roughly 10-20k. 2 powercords makes wires. Sell 6 wires keep 2 of the 8. 30k Profit and wire to go into more production. Edit: Don't Lowball yourself on wites either. Keep it at a firm 10k-11k. Its tempting to drop it to 9k but it'll sell. They always sell.

Something that wasn't covered in the crafting section, and something I feel a lot of players don't understand, is that just because you found something in raid doesn't make it free, and doesn't make crafts profitable. If you have FIR metal scissors, that's still 40k you're investing into your craft because that's how much they can be sold for on the market. Crafting may not provide the best value for that item, and selling it on the flea might be the most profitable way to use that item. For a simple example (not an actual craft, but using this ex. for simplicity. Let's say 2 metal scissors make a blue fuel container. Metal scissors go for 40k on the market, and blue fuel goes for 60k. So crafting that blue fuel, would actually lose you money in comparison to selling the scissors on the market. 40k + 40k = 80k VS 60k Like I said, this is not an actual example, but just wanted something simple to explain the concept. There are profitable crafts, but because of the player driven market, most crafts sell for about the same as the ingredients needed. So find a couple that profit, and stick with those. Don't waste all your time clicking around in the market/hideout to craft 2 mag boxes, so you can then craft a scav box. This just ends up with roughly the same amount of profit, and more time in the hideout, which means less raids. Less raids = Less Loot = Less Rubles. I hope I did a good job explaining this, let me know if I did, or if it doesn't make sense, or if you disagree.
@pajama5364
@pajama5364 4 года назад
It'd be nice if you used an actual example to present your point. I tend to just sell everything on the flea and only use the stuff I've gamma'd for the hideout. All of the expensive items that you can craft in the hideout cost pretty much the same as the components used to make them with very few exceptions like some of the highly desirable ammo (like 7.62 BP). As mentioned almost all the crafts in the hideout are (unfortunately) redundant because it costs the same to craft the item that it is to just buy off the flea. Why wait 3 hours crafting something when you can just buy it off the flea instantly for literally the same price? Would making the consumables you make in the hideout (ammo, meds etc) not found in raid when the craft is complete make the game better? Sure it would literally skyrock the necessary components, but wouldn't finding something like green gunpower in raid make finding the item really cool and special? Like now you can finally use that sweet sweet ammo for your favorite ak? It would also make high tier ammo rarer (obviously) and solve alot of the complaints from the community regarding how armor is literally useless. I feel like the hideout BSG has created is being criminally underutilized and could be a tool to fix the many issues this game has with its economy, gear and generally how abundant overpowered items are?
@kadenkaden4
@kadenkaden4 4 года назад
@@pajama5364 it is more profitable to sell two chocolates on the market than it is to craft a single sugar, then sell that (due to flea taxes). Most crafts are not profitable or unprofitable, and just waste time. There are good ones like the 762 BP you mentioned above. Removing the FIR tag to crafted items would probably result in making the hideout even more underutilized. I feel that most crafts in the hideout, are then sold for money, not use in raid. Obviously some things are used in raid, but most are just a few clicks to make that ruble count go up. I don't think the hideout can fix the issues with the oversaturation of gear, and probably would either not effect it, or make it worse. If they want to make armor useful again, then all high tier ammos should behave like 7N31 does on the market. Very limited supply from traders, no crafts, and scarcity of FIR rounds. Right now it is just too cheap to run 40+ pen ammo. Some of the cheaper high pen ammos (M80, 855a1, 762 BP) need to be nerfed in pen value, or price. Even then I don't know if that would solve that issue, its just what came to mind first. I really don't know the best way to fix this issue, and that's a whole other can of worms.
@pajama5364
@pajama5364 4 года назад
@@kadenkaden4 The only problem in the current state of the game regarding the hide out is that the only reason something is crafted is because you want to turn the non fir item into something that you can sell on the flea for a profit. Almost all the craftables are a waste of time. As you mentioned you said you wanted high tier ammo to be like 7n31. I can't see how the hideout can't have a hand in making ammo rarer, if 7.62 BP is locked behind 2 hours for 120 rounds wouldnt you have greatly limited the amount that you can use in a day? (BP spawns on raiders but the point still stands) I also don't want a situation where I can't run literally any gun with decent ammo despite having the resources for it. So I'm literally forced to run amkms with ps or something because I'm waiting another half an hour for the last batch of BP to finish. On a side note some of the ammo for what they do is actually insane, 55a1 is 300 rubles a round from traders and 995 is 1700 for ever so slightly better stats. M80 is actually a steal as is M62, M61 being hella expensive in comparison. The game needs a balance patch, you can't just solve everything by making it more expensive. The gl is a prime example of this. Even at 350k a shot its *still* worth it to run if you use it smart and kill the right person. It's rediculous how naked gl labs is unironically a good strategy. I know bsg are nerfing it but it's honestly a wonder how it got through testing in the state it released in.

Just scav run on interchange, everytime i spawn there, there is only 10-15 minutes left so there aren't many PMC's and you can find alot of motors and tubes that cost quite a lot and if you're lucky you can loot dead PMC's in techlight, they would most likely still have some gear left, and also loot power station and kill some scavs and take their loot if you want to, you can spawn very close to extracts, and if you're gonna go to railway, then make sure you loot the jacket in the small cabin, i found 3 factory keys there but you probably won't believe me, it can be empty and it can have rare items in it, also you can find alot of fuel in interchange and alot of hand drills which cost a lot, but thats just my opinion if you think what you're doing now is right, then I wont disturb your ways

Best advice I can give new players that struggle is to scav run on Reserve exclusively - unless you want to learn a new map. My first run there I extracted with 700-800k gear worth of loot without firing a shot within 7 minutes. A squad got massacred in White pawn building and some boss minions and Ive been scavving there ever since. Also the extracts are pretty central to the map so you dont have to run that far to get out which I really like. Shoreline is decent but I hate the distance sometimes, especially if you die towards the end of your run. Its painfull. Once you learn Reserve's extracts and general layout and you still cant make money I think you might have to reconsider playing this game since its that easy tbh.

Thanks for a great video. Keep it up, buddy! Have you made a tutorial as good as this for completely new players. "Escape from Tarkov" is a survival game with an important micromanagement, as when I played the first two weeks, I felt more or less lost equallly like : 1) this is cool game. It is the first computer game I have tried in 20 years of gaming, which actually takes firearms combat "serious". What I mean is; even in Beta, "Tarkov" is great, cause it makes you feel like a real merch in a abandoned town. Right of the bat I loved that you can down ANYONE with one bullet between the eyes. You, me, everyone! 2) A lot of PMCs are level 30-45! They have been playing for years. I have to learn by doing. 3) This is a great game. Not cause of awesome graphics, not because it is "Battle Royal". BUT 3) "Tarkov" is a longter,m and very detailed and rich in details (weapons, armour, ammo etc.) - but like in real war: survival before all other priorities. Thanks again!

A lot of miss information as far as the hideout goes: Workbench - wires are the most reliable way of making money, it's not the highest profit, but it's the most reliable (ie prices are most consistent) and very close to max profit. Lavatory - there's nothing which is reliable enough to be worth the risk, not to mention little profit. The exception here is the scav box, which, depending on the current market price, you are going to be better off selling to jaeger or ragman (don't recall which; don't forget to take into account the market fee). DO NOT CRAFT COCKTAIL FOR PROFIT unless you have non found in raid suger. You are better off either just selling the purified water or crafting 8 aqua bottles (which sell for 14-15k each). Med station - early wipe salewa, and later pile of meds are best bang for your buck, but profit is fairly low so I wouldn't bother.

If you die, you are assured of losing money and since time is money in Tarkov, even the guys running hatchets are losing money when they die. Making money is easy. If you understand that pvp'ing will get you killed even if you are good statistically as there is simply too many at the same time. So if you go in to make money then you mindset has to be set on survival & avoid conflict. Map knowledge is key of cause, once you know the pvp patterns you should also know how to avoid them. Playing scav helps if you a new player & even more if you are experience. if you are having particular troubles still then try a night raid on one of the larger maps, as quite often you get a starry sky and you are experienced with the map layout you can still navigate using natural structure waypoints even thou you are virtually blindfolded.

Crafting mag boxes is literally pissing money into the ground, you lose 120k buying the mats, crafting it and selling it on flea (basically you'll pay 260k making it and only sells for 140-50) and it's one of the worst things to craft even if you find most of the things in raid. Some of the best hideout crafts for profit margin turn over include: 2x red gunpowder, green filters from gas masks, wires from cords and ap 6.3 and BP 7.62

Heyo. New Tarkov player here. Has anyone have problems with cheaters? Since I’ve started, 2 weeks ago, I’ve ran into 3 players I suspect cheating. First encounter, couldn’t hit the player, 15 feet in front of me. Just stood there pressing Q and E, taunting. No gear. Just a pistol. Then would get one shotted in the head. TODAY, for my third encounter, second “Chad Run”, (1.5 million in gear), got one shotted the same way with my first encounter. However, could not left click to shoot, would eventually shoot my whole clip. Hope one of you read my experience. Would love to know your thoughts.

Maybe i should just wait in a bush for 20 mins as a pmc and pretend that im scaving if it works so well xd
@bretert
@bretert 4 года назад
Thats because player spawns are much more static and the flow on alot of maps forces early game combat, after 10 minutes half the pmc's are dead.
@kadenkaden4
@kadenkaden4 4 года назад
It would work! This is because PMC spawns are predictable, and more experienced players know where other players spawn, and where they're likely to go. I wouldn't recommend this strategy, but instead would recommend learning the player spawns to help increase your survival rate. The first 5-10 minutes of a raid is the most dangerous as a PMC, and understanding when/where other players will be will increase your survival rate.

play as scav everytime it comes up. And try to do some pvp with it. You need to get used to gun fights, and how they work. If you do not learn how to pvp, you'll never be good at the game. Something most newbies do is to try to rat too much in order to make money, hence by trying to avoid an integral part of the game in order to make money, they lose their opportunity to build that skillset. By playing scavs you dont need to worry about your gear, you start to work out how maps work, and learn how to setup an ambush because you'll never win in a straight fight with scav gear. Sound is the most important thing in the game, get a headset if you dont own it. And try to listen often, especially when you are entering a building. Dont stand out in the open but try to listen once you're secure. Learn ammo pen values and what armors look like, after that rest just comes with experience. For cheap weapons, for full auto i suggest mdr. You dont need anything to mod it with, its good to go for 50k, althuogh i usually at least put magpul mlok grip they are like 8k. I dont even put optics sometimes, just buy some ironsights. Also Vepr-209 with the new .366 AP is probably the cheapest most effective semi-auto in the game atm. That round will 1-hit kill low armored players. 90 flesh dmg + 42 pen means, it goes through budget armor ppl run which is lvl4. Gun itself goes for sub 20k, and you can even add suppressor for 15k. Ppl will also leave that gun alone because it's a fucking vpo-209, meaning it comes to you with insurance always. Full mag with .366AP costs about 20k, so 2-3 of them should be more than enough. Rest of the ammo, keep it in gamma. Another good insurance fraud weapon is MP153 with the stock adapter, which turns the gun into 7x2 slot gun, which means noone will pick that up, and use it with magnum buckshot + 7/8 round mags. It deals 50x8 damage so, will 1shot heads and 2 shot geared people in legs/arms in close quarters. Very effective close range. Also, dont buy helmets unless you find them, at this point in wipe anything other than Altyn is useless against most players, you mostly use them for ricochet chance which is already too low. Faceshield helmets are for the factory or for the rich to run. Buy comtacs of your choise always, and full face mask if possible to hide you(shemagh from rag3 is good). Buy cheap lvl4 armors if you can, otherwise use Zhuk-lvl3. Noone takes it and it has very good repairability. Keep Goldstar/Ibuprofin in gamma, and pop one before entering possibly dangerous area. Thats all that comes to mind, ways to cut costs.

@dandini0698 4 года назад
@@samd6778 Np dude. There's also this guide to armors which i like. He explains how armors work, and what armors are the most likely to last longer. You need to understand ammo pen values and their relationship to armor. They determine a great deal, your chances in a straight firefight. Gunfights are about forcing the enemy to fight you where you are strongest and where they are weakest, good players know this and are harder to bait, but you need to know when you should run instead of fight or when to press on. Also, dont mod the guns much, unless you survive a raid with them, thats a good habit to have generally for budget. Supressor is very valuable if you can afford it but in general they are rather expensive. Vpo-209 supp is very cheap as ive said so always run that gun with it, but there's also SOCOM556-RC2 supressor for 556guns, with the muzzle attachment, it comes up to 35-40k but adds extra 7% recoil reduction, which is substantial for a mod, but since its also a supressor, that makes it a best in-slot mod. It is a hefty expense but definately helps, so only buy it if you survive a raid and made some money. If your bank is low though nvm. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mGoj5_mKno0.html
