As far as the Eliminator, it actually played by a lot if people. I usually see any where between 30 to 60 players in a session. Some streamers play live and there will be groups of people that trybto join and get in different sessions with 30 to 60 people each.

Notice how many "new to Forza" cars in Forza Horizon 5 have yellow UK licence plates.

I really wish they would do more Barn FInds, I really enjoyed doing those in 4 and 5.....

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE if they added the drag racing update with some pro stock cars like the pro stock camaro And I would also ABSOLUTELY LOVE is Donut Media part 3 and also the 1986 ferrari 288 barn find and I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to have a 1910 fiat S76

I think I was only really hoping for the Drag Racing update but not too fussed about any of them at this point. Game is going to winding down now and I'm not even expecting them to ever fix the many bugs either.

1- "Eliminati": Not a fan. But if it makes into the game, don't make cars exclusive tied to this gamemode. 2- "Drag": I think this have a lot more populatiry. I don't know why this haven't been pushed ahead. 3- "Drift Story": This is another one that is should have more popularity i think. 4- "Donut pt3": I think this will get released eventually. Hopefully. 5- "Barn finds and community events": Let's hope it comes out. - Hope that all cars and customization options can be released even that the full update doesn't comes out.

So i play the eliminator alot and id say its pretty popular. I always get matched with lobbies with 40-50+ players. It sucks they cancelled it because i think it would've been pretty awesomeness

i cant tell how much i hate eliminator and i am not annoyed that we wont get an update to that mode i tried it a while back the eliminator and mean while i was stuck in a beetle my most hated car in the world evry one else got level 6 cars i am a bit more annoyed that we wont get prober drag racing and the whole donut thing for me is just dont care

There's still a chance the Drag and or Eliminatti could make an end of life appearance to the game in a similar fashion as the Super 7 did for FH4. Like a final big series update before we start hearing news about FH6. 🤷‍♂️

Donut media is doing something similar to the Baja 1000 currently they’re upgrading a $500 ranger and making it do some sort of Baja 500 don’t know what the first work is but I do know it’s 500kilometers

To me it seems like FH5 was just failure after failure after failure. They ironed out the wrong things and some things got almost no love FH5 will be forgotten, FH4 was fairly good, a really good map, FH3 amazing map and features and good car list snd FH2 and FH1 are just obviously legendary, but I think FH5 will be absmall footnote in the history of horizon lol. I genuinely think it will be nearly forgotten about

maybe those are ideas for the next game or they add in those in the very last updates for the game .

They should bring the Drag Racing story in but it seems they really don,t care about doing any other stories for the game. I think they just rather keep adding cars and car packs instead. It is really the easy way out for them. Which is really a shame. I don,t think turn 10 really cares too much about the game anymore. They are just milking it till FH6 or whatever. Now tbh the game is just the same old every week rinse and repeat. How many cars do you really need in the game. It is just getting stale at this point.😐😐😐

I am writing this comment before I express my disappointment or frustration with these canned updates in favor of the updates that the game has been receiving and its current state. Update: nothing seemed all too interesting aside from the illuminator, drag, and donut media updates. I wish that the eliminator had cooler rewards to grind like FH4. FH4 had the gt3 rs pre order edition as a reward and made it so worth it to grind for and besides I thought that the eliminator was a cool idea but it has no support in FH5 thus loosing its popularity. For the drag update it’s cool that we got some features from it but I wish we that gotten more cars out of it since there is a lack of them especially American cars. Finally I do hope that we could get more of donut media because P.G could also bring in the donut media cars to the game as well as implement more car customization. Who knows what would’ve happened to the state of the game if these updates were to happen but I wish we could have more cooler cars instead of having more electric cars like we got in the ‘Asian new year update’ though if P.G wants more electric cars at least bring Tesla back if they could come up with an agreement.

Hopefully they have Scrapped the Lot, as the sooner FH5 goes EOL and we can get away from the Flat, Dirty, Dusty, Barren, Dead, Lifeless, Filthy, Ancient, Dilapidated, Illogical, Abandoned, Hideously Ugly *Mess* that is the Games *insult* to the Nation of Mexico (a Location choice I still consider to be *Utterly Inexplicable* !) and go back to Europe or the United States again in FH6, the Better! I am glad they have seemingly scrapped Duoliminator/Eliminati, and hope that they Genuinely *have* gone and Scrapped it Entirely! A Multiplayer only Update would have (and will be if it happens!) been the last Straw for me (Remember, I am fully of the view that FOMO Mechanics should be made *illegal* along with MTX and Lootboxes, it is why I continuously call for PGG to *Scrap* Playlist for FH6 and return, as it seems they may be planning to do (and I hope they do) back to the "Old" model of Straight to Autoshow for Returning Cars and Paid DLC for New to Forza/New to Horizon Cars, *No. More. FOMO Nonsense!* ) , I would have raised a 2010 Equalities Act Noncompliance Complaint with my MP! it would have pushed me that Far! So no, it belongs in the Bin! Hopefully, they have also gone to the next Level and have *Scrapped Eliminator Entirely* for FH6 given the Player Engagement Metrics for that mode have pretty much gone through the Floorboards, as I do not want to see another Map *utterly Ruined* by the Eliminator in the way FH5's Map was! Especially for a mode, Battle Royale, that I feel should carry a *Mandatory* PEGI 18/ESRB M Rating *without Exception* and thus has no Place in a now (as of 2019 and Microsoft making "Forza Safe Space" a Corporate Policy) 3/E Only Rated Series like Horizon! I know Eliminator was very much the All Consuming Focus of Mike "should never have been employed on Forza" Brown, so, given he is no longer at PGG (thank goodness! Good Riddance! ) and Torben Ellert has never hidden that he is *not* a Fan of that Mode, Hopefully it will indeed have been *Scrapped Entirely* for FH6. I think Drag Racing has been put back for FH6, the Drag Tree, which seemed to be a major Element of the Drag Racing Update, never Synced Properly at 30FPS in FH4 and only Synced correctly at 60FPS (Only available in One X Quality mode and/or the Series S/X Upgrade), and that issue with the Tree just not Syncing Properly at 30FPS (the Only mode available for Base Xbox One and One S) would perhaps Explain why it was Removed from FH5 during the late Beta Stage. Drag Racing, given so many of its Elements were used in Other Updates, has indeed clearly been Cancelled, and the issues with the Tree not Syncing Correctly at 30FPS (meaning the Update would not have worked on Xbox One Base and One S) could well be why it was Cancelled. However, with FH6 being made with Series S at the Prime Platform, they should be able to make it a 60FPS only Game on Console, meaning the Tree will Sync Correctly, so it makes more sense to Delay proper Drag Racing with Drag Trees to FH6 where they will be able to get them to Sync up Correctly. Ugh, that Dialogue is *Abysmal* ! a Child of 12 could do better!, they *Really* need to Hire a Professional Screenwriter, Professional Voice Actors (and, PGG, Please, Find a Role for Tom "Doctor Who" Baker in there somewhere!) and a Proper Animation Studio (Bring back Pre Rendered Cutscenes!!) for FH6 to really Step up the Dialogue and Story (Back to Zero to Hero, "Superstar" being such an Arrogant and Condescending Twerp would make Her (yes, a *Girl Antagonist* ! no more of this "Girls can only be good and perfect and flawless and better than men at all things" Mary-Sue "Goody Two Perfectly Tied Shoes" Nonsense Please!) a Perfect "PEGI 3 Friendly Antagonist" for FH6 in the Vein of Ben from FH2..) while keeping within the tight Restrictions of a PEGI 3/ESRB E Rating. I have never been a Fan of Drifting as a "Grip or Bust" Player, but I do accept its Popularity among the Forza Fanbase, so I can see why People will be upset if Drift Club 2.0 has been Scrapped, but Personally, I do not really Care, Added or Scrapped, "Meh...whatever...moving on" is about the best Reaction I can give. Given the Helicopter got reworked for Rally Adventure, I would not be Suprised if Drift Club 2.0 has been Scrapped however. Now, given the Licensing contract with Donut, I do not think PGG *actually even can* just Scrap DMP3, as that would be a Breach of Contract on their Part, I think It is still in the Works. Now, Personally, I do not like Donut Media at all, I find them to be Childish, Arrogant, Mean Spirited, Offensive, and Militant, I find them to be Bullies and Man-Children, and I think they give Car Enthusiasts a *very* Bad Name, and I hope that the Partnership will *Not* be Renewed for FH6 or any Future Forza Games, I would rather see Donut Part 3 Scrapped Personally, but I doubt the Licensing contract would allow that, so I would not be Suprised if DMP3 is still in the Works and its just the Modelling Time on Hi and Low Truck, and getting Toyota to agree to give them the License Lease for the Tacoma Model they are based on, that is causing it to take a little time to Arrive. Of Course, there is however a slight, tiny, miniscule little Chance (and I hope this *has* Happened) that Donut themselves may have Cancelled their Partnership with Forza and pulled the License due to The Crew: Motorfest doing a Vastly better Job with the same Material compared to the Low Effort Nonsense just "farted" out by PGG! Meaning that DMP3 will have been Scrapped if Donut have pulled the License. I hope they have. The 288 GTO Evoluzione would be a Perfect Fit for Race Off! so there is a Miniscule chance it may come into the Playlist next Update, but, with the Updates clearly slowing down and getting more "Meh" again, and with the Game feeling very close to EOL at the moment IMO, I am not going to hold my Breath and will instead expect the next Playlist to be just the FH3 Racing Cars Recycled, a lot of Autoshow Clutter, and a 10 Car Paid DLC Pack of "New to Horizon" Race Cars....Recycled from FM7. The Beast of Turin was Probably cancelled due to the Major Licensing Snarl that occurred with Stellantis, and Baja Boot could well have also become involved in a Licensing Snarl as I am pretty sure Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (and Forza does not currently have a License with that Brand) owns the Rights to that Vehicle now. TBH, I think they have all (Except Donut 3) been cancelled, as I do half Expect, as the Updates are slowing down again and the Game feels increasingly like it is approaching EOL, coupled with the Fact that, due to Nosediving Player Engagement Metrics and Myriads of Complaints in Social Media and on the Forza Forums, PGG has *got* to be aware that People are *utterly sick and tired* of FH5 by now, and are in such a funk with it that many players have indeed either gone over to The Crew: Motorfest, or have just gone back to FH4, FH3, FH2, and even to FH1 instead! to see FH6 at Gamestack in Summer as a "Showstopper" Surprise Announcement at the end of the show. I Just hope Torben has had the good sense to set it in Europe or Microsoft has forced them to do the US again (there is that Hint of FH6 possibly being California in the Dialogue of Donut Media Part 2 after all! and as much as I dislike Boring and Generic California, I will take it over Asia any day of the Week, as I can still play a California set game with a Good Conscience!) and the Chinese Cars are Just a Hang Over from the Mike Brown Era with it being simply just too late to Cancel the License Contracts, because I *will Boycott* the Game if it is set in Communist China, and any other Asian Location, such as Japan, is going to be a very Reluctant Gamepass trial even at best for me as, due to Asia's Deeply Pagan Culture, I cannot play a Game set out there in Good Conscience due to all the Idols, and If I cannot Play in Good Conscience I cannot play at all! the updates they need in my opinion ...NO MORE DRIFTING! drifting is NOT driving! drifting sucks! ...& please give us the 4th gen general motors f-bodies, aka camaros & firebirds ...they can give us stupid little quirky nerd mobiles & stupid clothing (seriously, CLOTHING in a racing game?!? somebody shoulda been fired over that dumbass ideal) that nobody actually wants, but for some reason they continually disrespect they greatest american modern muscle with the fabled ls engines! ...that makes no sense!

I found horizon stories so boring, every story has the same challenge 1000+ hours of playing FH I completed some of them just to get some rare cars. You know what else is boring, the main map 😂

I don't care how many people "like the idea" of a drag racing update. Nobody does drag racing, you can't do it online, it's not what Horizon is about. I can 100% guarantee that more people would like and eliminator update than a drag racing update. It's just a vocal minority that loves yelling about the Dodge demon and 400mm tires. Eliminator was very popular in Horizon 4 and at the beginning of Horizon 5, people just stopped playing it because it hasn't changed in 5 years.
