make sure you learn how to properly place and use your feet! I didnt and had to relearn. tho now I can skate semi switch. but yea during the releaning is where I got most of my skate injuries. "I can do this!" "nope"

I'm a 40 yr old dad and I just bought my 5 yr old son his first skateboard! I never learned to skate as a kid, and now it's something we can do on equal footing together and videos like this are so great for us both! his confidence goes through the roof when he learns to do something new( the guy in the shop showed him how to ticktock and it's all he wants to practice!) Kj I started seriously 5 months ago 3rd day sprained my ankle badly just Raise your foot, Ice it, compress with bandages, elevate the legs in give it a couple weeks you should be fine.
