@@oussamalouat8554 Hey, that's absolutely great! There is so much information out there which you can utilise to find new clients! Check out some videos on our channel such as The Ultimate Guide to Getting Hired - which goes through portfolio and showreel etc! Then, we do have paid courses to get you going such as Client Quest! motionhatch.com/client-quest
My recent win is that I've made an expression that allows you to interpolate value or speed between 2 keyframes using either a formula or a set of 4 bezier points. Unfortunately, the plug-in 'flow' exists to do the same job even better, but this expression is just a part of my paper about creating an animation using only code features. The paper will be presented to my teacher at collage. And the paper itself has a purpose. You see, I've started researching motion design in april, won a small-scale competition, and lost a greater-scale one. It was infuriating since I came second to last, and the last one didn't even know about Media Encoder. And I'm not even a designer. I have competed with some of them, and have won. But I'm with mass media, and looking to be an editor. To graduate, I have to find something worth publishing and make it so that it's a 'ready to publish' book. That includes working with client/writer, editing, calculating cost of a circulation, making a layout, and so on. And my teacher proposed that we should make a 'Wanna be a Motion Designer' guide. Not sure if it works out or what will be the contents of the guide, but that sounds awesome. Maybe where I am now is, essentially, a win itself.
No results from "get your first client" The worst part is that life costs and you have to do something to earn for it, then there is no time for learning, building a portfolio and looking for clients, one client is not enough to support yourself. I agree MD we need years to build, but how to live years build myself ane do nothing ?
🥳 That's absolutely great to hear, well done! Have you shared it on your socials? And make sure you get some feedback from your peers! Great way to network too! You're so welcome!
Hi Q1. Why dont you tell motion designer to start their youtube channel and create videos on trends using their motion graphics skill? This can make them enough money. Q2. Why you share tips about freelance which is not stable enough as I am struggling from 2019
Hey! Thanks for these questions! We've mentioned about starting your own RU-vid channel in some other videos where we talk about alternative income streams! It can be really useful, along with selling templates etc, but definitely requires some work upfront! We're aware that going freelance can be scary, and difficult at times, which is why we post these videos - to help motion designers with their freelance businesses :) What specifically are you struggling with, let us know and we'll try to help! :)
I have a win for this week, I'm doing 30 day posts about some of the top 30 animators and their views on animation, and I'm completing 15 days today on this project.
