Yip. Opened this up, and expected to see Vital and Surge at the top / near the top. Good call on Spitfire and Labs, which is getting better all the time too. Decent Sampler should be making it's way up there too, if not now, soon. Especially with Pianobook expanding. Not sure I agree on the placement of VCVRACK and Dexed. I'd rank them higher, personally. But, it depends how much you use modular and FM synthesis in your music, I suppose. But, my choices in the top tier would be Vital, then Surge, Spitfire / Labs. Then, VCVRack + Audible Instruments, Valley Plateau, Erica, Befaco etc modules, Dexed, Decent Sampler + Pianobook, and TAL Noisemaker and Pendulate in the second tier. Along with Reaper and ValhallaVintageVerb (not free, but very cheap), and some free effects (Convology XT, Deelay, TAL Chorus, Caelum Tape Cassette 2, ChowDSP Chow Tape Model, Softube Saturation Knob, Klanghelm IVGI), I could get by just fine in music making.
for free sax, there's saxophia and the diamond trio freebie from strezov sampling (works with free kontakt player *and* comes with an double bass and upright piano- basically the jazz family starter pack)
Zebralette literally crashes my fl anytime I go to open it and I have a hp omen so it’s definitely not my laptop I’m not sure why it doesn’t work for me

Yep it is FL Studio 20. I included a link to the LANDR article that has 248 free plugins. Because most of the synths you can find there and my description has a character limit. Here is the link blog.landr.com/best-free-vst-plugins/
Thanks for the heads up on the acoustic guitar! Mood bass is actually in the video and you are right it’s a great alternative to ABPL (I even prefer it over it)
The Oberheim is god tier...if you were alive in the 80s you would understand...VCV is god tier if you know what you are doing...you can make almost any synth you can dream of in VCV.
