The 6+3 Breathing Method is a form of mindful meditation that involves a sequence of breaths before and during eating. This sequence helps to prepare the body for food, improve digestion, and reduce irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) through the parasympathetic nervous system.
By consciously observing our breathing before and during eating, we can improve the activation of the gastro-colic reflux, support proper digestion to reduce GERD symptoms, and absorb more nutrients by preparing our body for food.
