Today we received letter for tax class change for my husband from class 1 to class 3, but this will be applicable from next month I.e. January 2023. If husband and wife both are student, they both work part time job (80 hours) which tax class would be more beneficial? keeping the tax Class 1 which was before marriage or converting it to Class 3 and 5? Great info video, a few weeks ago I change my class from 4 to 3 and my wife goes to 5. when I used an online Steuerrechner and fill my info and the Lohnsteuer is 0€ and of course the Sozialabgaben i do get some numbers , i try in deafferents online calculator but they all show me 0€ , can you explain me why?
