I hope so too. As some whom is 30. I see the 60’s as such a turning point in American history. And I believe the 2020’s will be the same as well. We’re the generation fighting against establishment just like those in the 60’s.
Having spent 40 years helping to make movies and TV shows in HOLLYWOOD... I have to say you have done a great job of editing, just superb and well thought out, what you have done would have taken weeks to do editing film and timing... You must have some great software to be able to edit to the split-second of the beat of the music... So many RU-vidrs are doing great work but yours is absolutely outstanding!
I have a question that worries me: why haven't they released Hanna-Barbera's "Wacky Races", which scores a ten to zero in Disney's "Cars", in theaters? They could make four sequels: Grand Prix America, Grand Prix Asia, Grand Prix Africa and Grand Prix Europe. Important: originality must be maintained. It would be a worldwide success. As a child of the 1970's, I couldn´t agree more. But I´m foremost affected by the '80s. My parents both children of the 1950's hence I have been told many stories of the '60s as well as the '70s-not to speak of my grandparents wich were/are children of the 1910's and 1920's (dad's mum born 1926 and her life in occupied Norway for instance-as well as my mum's dad (1918-91) and his life as a born and bread Stockholmer, but most of all his stories as a stationed soldier at the Norwegian boarder -watching the German trains going through Sweden (he personally close enough to hear German orders!).
I've watched all your pop culture tribute videos and even the ones for decades I wasn't alive in made me emotional. You always pick the perfect songs and the clips you place to them always follow perfectly. I hope this is what you make a living at because you're so damn good at it.
Always felt like my parents were born at the perfect time! 1954 & 1955. Got to grow up in the 60’s and were still young enough to enjoy the 80’s! I’ll always have the 80’s, but I wish I could’ve experienced the 60’s! I, absolutely, LOVE the music from the 60’s! R.I.P pops

My grandfather, a true working gentleman, who bought his records on the fridays, loved the beach boys and played records for us, when we came. Died to early ,in his 50ties, would have loved this video, reminds me of him, such a righteous man
I was a child in the 60s. It was a time that you left in the morning on your bikes with your friends and came home when the streetlights came on. But of course there was also Mary Anne, Wednesday Adams and Penny Robinson - Oh Yeah !!!

The Vintage Tribute is the best video makers. The time, effort and thoughtful editing is appreciated. Loved that they included Rachel Welch and Ann Margret . Both went to Vietnam to entertain the troops during Christmases. Beautiful in many ways.

How are you not more popular?? The last two minutes with MLK alone is Oscar worthy. You outdo yourself with every tribute and I can't wait to see what you cook up for the 50s. As a pop culture junkie myself, I can't seem to bring up much more than Elvis, James Brown, Chuck Berry and Fats Domino for the 50s but i'm sure you'll find a way to blow me away! Oh yeah, just my two cents, I think you could've added a bit more Beatles haha! kidding!

Agreed. I'm totally about the 80s. But, to me, with the rise of syndicated and cable channels showing repeats of the classic TV shows and movies from the 50s, 60s and early 70s as well as radio stations playing the great music from the same time that people our age hadn't heard yet, I consider that all part of the 80s "experience". What an AMAZING time in which to grow up !!!!!

Fantastic! This might be your best work so far. I applaud the fact that you captured the spirit of that generation in a very concise way. I think we all know it’s impossible to put every single great rock band and movie of that era. Instead, you changed the pacing and concentrated on capturing the spirit of the 60s and you nailed it in an incredible way. I loved that you managed to actually incorporate footage of The Beatles into the actual context and feel of that era, which in my opinion, is extremely difficult to do, since their own legend sometimes acts against their perception (people often see The Beatles as rare unique phenomenon, in a bubble, away from the rest of mortals), you made them part of the 60s. Amazing work. One of the best I’ve ever seen. Cliff Booth, Rick Dalton and Quentin would be proud. 10/10

This video is more natural than the "waiting for a star to fall" video for the end of the 80s. I like this relaxed mood here instead all this "made happiness" in the 80s. I am born 1968. I hope others had a better life than me since 1997. I helped a lot to make the mobile internet for all human beings worldwide possible and I was one part of the team who made many things later like it was. Those of us born in that glorious decade knew back then that we were invincible. Those of us still standing today know that our time is finite and we may no longer be quite as invincible. We still look to the future with the hope and optimism of those early years when everything was possible.
Culturally it certainly was. Although at first, only the young ones were exposed to that change. Music started to change around 1964 but only for 15 years old. For the rest of the population, 50's music remained popular throughout the decade. For movies, it was basically the 50's part 2 until the very late 60's (1967). That's when New Hollywood emerged. The death of JFK was definitely a watershed, although most people in 1964 believed the official conclusion of the Waren commission. Things became to get rough with the Vietnam war in 65. 1965-66 is also an important time for television with the arrival of color. By 1969, most American houses enjoyed their new television sets. The 60's were indeed a bridge but it's difficult to divide the decade into specifics periods. I would say : -January 1960-November 1963 was just like the 1950's with minor changes. -November 1963-early 1967 : kids are starting to listen to strange music and it's getting politically confused but nothing big enough to change the whole cultural paradigm of society yet, in fact the most successful song of 1966 is a patriotic military song called The Green Beret. -1967-1969 : pure chaos. Politics become omnipresent and there has never been so much violence before. Luther King and RFK are killed. The whole nation is shocked by the wildness of these new "hippies" and the Manson case shatters the peace and love dreams. The moon landing during the summer of 1969 is a little light of hope during those troubled times.
