I wanted to thank you for being a great resource for a newbie watch collector. In February I bought the Seiko SNK805 after watching your video. It's my first automatic and I'm delighted with the quality I got for such a low price. I have since gone on to get a Casio Protrek PRW-3000-1CR after watching another of your videos. Bought a few items from him myself. Good place provided you are okay with not being able to call him or someone there on the phone, which I am not a big fan of. Verbal contact these days is in short supply, but I will no longer be supplied by folks who don’t provide this service. I’m pretty sure their suppliers take phone calls from them when they need to communicate verbally. While I’m not a watch retailer/seller I am a watch and accessories buyer, albeit for my own house, I’m a buyer none the less.

I'm weak. I wasn't going to buy another watch until my birthday (August) but today I saw C.Ward is currently offering a 15% discount across the Trident range and long story short my birthday this year is in April ! I do take a gamble on a couple grey market sellers when the price is a steal, or nobody else has what I am looking for. I wouldn't buy high end thru the grey market though. My 2 favorite online sellers are PassTheWatch and Long Island Watch. I am not sure if PTW is grey market, but even if they are, they are great people to deal with! PTW is located in California.

I ordered my Orient Bambino from Long Island watch.When I called to ask a question I was shocked that It was Mark himself that actually answered the phone! He was very friendly and helpful ! I have also bought a few watches from Jomashop with no issues either( in case thats who you were referring to ?( unscrupulous Brooklyn watch dealers ).

I agree with you about Marc from Long Island Watch. Great selections, and great customer service. One recent example was when I was resizing my new Seiko Turtle PADI edition, which I did not buy from Marc; and no knowing about the pin and collar type of bracelet I had (rookie mistake), I lost some of the collars. Could not find them on eBay. Wrote an email, at night, to Marc to ask him if he sold them. Not only did he reply, THAT NIGHT!, but shipped me some collars. No charge. Now that's a stand up guy! I know where my next Seiko purchases will be from.

Great video and one I think is extremely useful! I'd like to add Gnomon Watches as another great seller. They are in Singapore and sell a lot of German brands as well as JDM Seiko's. I bought my SARX033 from them and they delivered it in just two days from Singapore to the east coast of the USA. They even included a free NATO strap that matched the watch perfectly without me even asking!

Interesting video -however, I think that it's really important to address the international market - I'm sure that a lot of your viewers are not in the US and the question of international sales AND after-sale support is crucial. I would like you to comment also on Amazon; for a lot of us (I'm in Israel) - Amazon is one of the best sources (obviously not just for watches) - is everything "grey" in their watch department? Can we rely on the Amazon guarantee? - certainly their customer support is excellent. Grateful for any input

I was very pleased with Govberg in the Philadelphia region. I was foolish and didn't check out the Speedmaster Reduced in person before I bought it used from them online. When it arrived and I realized it was too small for me they were fantastic about returning it, treated me well when I went to the store, and I bought a used Speedmaster Professional off them instead, couldn't be happier.

Once again, a fabulous video! Very enjoyable and informative and great to know of all your online watch sources. Thanks for sharing Tristanto. One thing I've learned from you is if you have a smaller wrist, its wise to know the ideal watch size for your wrist. Like you I have a smaller wrist so a 40mm is just perfect for me. I learned this the hard way. Also thickness makes a difference too. It really helps to know what you want and what fits best. I still believe dyeing on first , can really make a difference.

I can vouch for Timeless. Dan, Anna, Steve, and Mike are all great. Friendly, easy to talk to, happy to let you try on as many watches as you would like, and even have a small selection of adult beverages they offer you while you browse. It’s fun to go in and just chat with them about Watches and try a few on. Can’t speak highly enough about them. The only negative is that they are moving about 10 minutes south to Legacy West in Plano in a few months - and the only reason that is a negative is because it’s further from my house! So yes, I’m being selfish when I count the move as a negative, because in reality, I think the new space is going to be pretty awesome.

Hey TGV, good video. Just a suggestion for your top 10 (or 7 in this case) videos, you should put timestamp links in the description that will skip to the exact point in the video that you start talking about each item. I can't tell you how many times I'll watch a top 10 vid of yours for a half hour and go "what was that 5th one.....or maybe 6th" and it's hard to skip around the video manually to replay something specific. I would love to see a Travel Series where you'd go to Pre-Owned Watch dealers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and other cities well known for watch shopping. Maybe when travel restrictions are better?

Amazing video TGV. It's the video I was waiting for. You got it right. We save up in order to buy watches we love and it's heartbreaking when someone takes advantage of us and rips us off. I cannot agree more with you. There are a lot of cowboys out there and eBay is a shark tank. Thank you TGV and thank you for your amazing effort to educate us. Thank you again Lords of the watches.

Love the channel the watches the advice. Who said your videos are too lengthy? Nonsense. While you're doing your reviews I'm looking beyond. Where do you get your screen savers? They're fabulous, especially the old masters. I find this video particularly interesting because I'm looking for a reputable dealer and repair facility so as I value your recommendation thanks again.
