So the 49ers had a top 40 prospect with fantastic measurables at their biggest position of need, who’s also the cousin of one of best players of this need, and who therefore would’ve been an excellent pick at 31, fall to them at 63 and they instead swapped picks one place with the team that defeated them in both of their 2 Superbowl appearances in the last four years, gaining no real value in return, to allow this team to take this prospect. Is this the same team with a multitude of later round picks that waited patiently for their draft love to fall to them only to watch them be taken one pick before them and then drafted a consensus 4th round pick instead of trading back and drafting him in the mid 3rd round?

I thought the Titans should have taken AD Mitchell...1st rd value at a position of need....and I thought at minimum, they should gave traded back and they still could have gotten him. However, NT is the one position on the team, where they don't have a true starter level player....so, it was a huge need, and they wanted Sweat to take double teams off Jeffrey Simmons and provide consistent QB pressure up the middle. To make sure they got him, I don't blame them for reaching, when it appeared there was a run on DT's

Texans had 3 picks... Lassiter as their extra CB, Fisher for OT depth and they moved up for Bullock cause they needed a ballhawk on the back end and Rams looked like they were gonna grab a Safety... which they did with their pick after If those 3 picks turn into good starters it also saves Texans about 40+ mil in cap 3 years from now
