Realms or realities of prayer. 1. Adoration-interaction with God (John 4:24.) Don’t know what to pray? Just give your attention to him; be obsessed with him. All true worship is out of revelation(knowing Gods word and being guided by the Holy Spirit) Worship is responding to Gods glory. It’s responding to Gods glory. 2. Supplication (Phillipians 4:6-7) Worry is the flesh’s attempt of prayer. Ask God about what you need and then thank him for what he has given you. Unburdened yourself from concerns allows you to go deeper in prayer. Peace is the start of prayer. 3. Confrontation (James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8-9) Confront power of darkness. Resist devil that he might flee. But don’t become obsessed with this. Christ has already defeated him but there are times where you do need to pray against darkness. 4. Contrition--Repentance (Matthew 6:8-13) Ask God for forgiveness. Posture self in agreement and alignment with Gods word. This is spiritual maintenance ask God to reveal your heart then repent (turn away). 5. Meditation (Psalms 1:1-3) Worldly meditation tells you empty mind because enemy infiltration happens in empty place. Godly meditation tells you to fill your mind with Gods word. Reading word is eating it. Meditating is digest it. Let the word dominate your thoughts. 6. Intercede-Ask God to help them and thank God for them (1 Timothy 2:1) Pray for salvation, blessing, just pray for what God has said on behalf of others. It is impossible to accomplish nothing in prayer every second in prayer works whether you feel it, see it or not. 7. Thanksgiving (Psalm 100:4) Giving thanks makes way for him to enter. Thank him for spiritual and physical things. Complaining is the flesh’s thanks to the negative. Allows you to enter the awareness of his presence. You can experience encounters in the Glory of God. Amen, Father helps us to host your presence to be a temple of prayer. Guide us in these realms as we go in our prayer life. Give us a desire for prayer. Make me a house of prayer. Amen.
