Wow, years and years of colonizers and ignorant people telling the world that African spirituality is “evil” or “demonic” and I’m really starting to understand that African spirituality is just really advanced and Ancient science, one of the things I love about our Ancestral spirituality is that it understands the human as being something that is apart of nature not something that is in opposition to her. It’s very beautiful and complex. Because Africans predate everyone here on earth it absolutely makes sense why African spirituality has much more depth and complexity to it. Our Ancestors are amazing! It’s about time we as African people get back to our traditions and ancient ways, it’s far more fulfilling

Honestly, I veer away from saying "African" spirituality. Omenana and Odinani are pretty unique and detailed. I've extensively studied the Hebrew scriptures and culture. A lot of stuff matches up. It's the Greek origined Eurocentric Christian idea which demonizes Africa. But the source material for the book they (mis)use is more like "African" religion than most know or would admit.

@@Peacekeepa317 tbf there are a lot of parallels across the many African religions. So I don’t have a problem with them being grouped together. There is a term that is in circulation called Kimoyo.

wow. The more I hear about Igbo spirituality the more i´m blown away how deep it goes. I have studied spiritual and esoteric knowledge from all over the world and now I can see that what I have studied is basically Igbo spirituality.

Yes but because it was fully interwoven with spirituality, it's different from the science of today, I mean why tell someone you can't be a dibia unless your aro is fixed in 7, science is about learning how to fix it in 7, it doesn't support the necessary idea of destiny as is prevailed by Igbo cosmology but rather the fact that you imprint is more of a nature of the force which you can exert on so many things but not necessarily one thing. We had it but was too sacred (probably out of selfishness/men keeping the knowledge to themselves because of how dangerous it was, imagine what was lost at Hiroshima in the name of science). All this calls for deep meditation.

As weird as things I go, I stumbled onto a piece of text that actually sort of describes how to change your destiny, a process known as 'Ikpu mmuo' and 'Iyi uwa' both cumulatively known as 'Idotu Chi'. Igbo science is just too advanced and I think the missing link is finding the equivalent of electricity that works in the spiritual dimension.

Great video. I got the Dragon Ball Z reference (also a Dragon Ball Z fan). So many wonderful concepts that I would love to know more about. Odinani has a few parallels with the concepts of The Big Bang, Quantum Physics and String Theory. Some concepts and topics that would make great vids: Igo Mmuo Igbo Numerology 'Twin Burials' Masks and what they represent. To become a Nze must be tough. Especially for the dietary requirements. I don't think any Igbo or Nigerian could become an Nze if one of the dietary requirements was no Jollof Rice! LOL 🤣😆😅

Both Kemetic spirituality and the Hindu religion state that each person has 7 "Energy bodies". As for repeating patterns of sevens, you also find that in Kabbalah where the ten sefirot is a repeating pattern in all created things material and non-material. Very interested in cross culture videos. I think it's important cos for some or many of us who grew up in other religions (e.g. Christianity), it might be easier to understand when this knowledge is related to what we have been familiar with. It brings a deeper appreciation and understanding of our culture. Already I see many similarities with Buddhist beliefs that have blown my mind.I look forward to your videos on this , it would be amazing.

Apart from the fact that thru out this experience, I kept hearing and seeing my actual name, I kept hearing the word my mother used for her mother when my daughter was born, Afo. Suriname is where she’s from, btw. I’m in a wonderfully strange exciting point in my remembering of so much. Thank you is very incomplete, but it will have to do for now. When learning things like this, my brain just squeezes it into one ball like a crochet 🧶 and all i can really tell myself is “it’s all connected, it’s the same and not the same or it is the same but operate differently” instead of overreacting to my inability to think about it of off-head, i stay calm and draw out a pattern that explains how they are connected. Common sense just tells me that we as mmadu operate under the rule of this beautiful connection, everything we do is connected to something we did or something someone elsewhere is doing or has done. Any Good artwork, music, communication, collective thinking, Mathematics and so on is its connection. The reason for our reaction to beautiful things is because of how well they are connected and how well they complement each other. I’m sorry, this the very first time i’m diving into pure spiritual science with very little of its physical manifestation.

You're right, but 7 is a 'nest' for Aro and doesn't always have it. 4 the 'nest' and the 'aro' were not separated.

Great and very deeply insightful video, I think my spirit pulled me to this knowledge. I do have one question, you used the phrase 'arushi of the land' at 45:51 you mentioned that the 'aro' served as activators of the 'arushi' of the land. In my research, I have come to believe 'arushi' is a foreign imported concept as it is not in alignment with the Odinani which does not believe in power residing in an inanimate object like the idea behind idols or amulets but rather use inanimate objects as symbols to something spiritual. I believe the term aru shi or alu si, kind of implied it was an aberration, almost literal translation of abomination poop. The Bible also talks hints a lot about contamination of traditional religions with idols and such. My question then is: Are you saying that it was the duty of the aro to activate these 'arushis of the land' or do you mean something different by the term 'arushi of the land' and why does it need 'activation' if it meant something else?

@@TheMedicineShell I meant power in the active context, hence the use of the word 'symbol'.. the keyboard or phone is useless as a tool without the user. But true active power is not useless without a user, it already has a function essential to existence.

@@OpataChibueze in magical theory an object can be charged with a force or an energy, hence you will see the practice of amulets or talismans existing in every single ancient culture all over the world. Even the christian cross works that way, since a catholic excorsist uses the cross and holy water to chase out spirits. Both are magical tools charged with specific intent.

@@goldbluetears There's a difference between the object itself being used as a symbol and being charged by itself. Symbols work like chemical processes, talismans and co work as energy condensers and lots of times such energy are not pure since the purest energy is too powerful to be condensed

@@OpataChibueze so what is your point. Objects can be charged with specific cosmic forces or with a specific intent. Human beings can even create a certain type of spirit entity that serves their will in the spirit world. These are techniques and technologies of the subtle dimensions and they are not more or less evil than our modern materialistic technologies. Everything that has power is both usefull and dangerous at the same time.
