One of my favorite places has to be Spear Pillar, on the top of Mt Coronet. There are so many places in the SInnoh region that I'd love to explore in the remakes. Gen 4 is just beautiful.

The manmade wonders can be explained by Pokemon Sword entry for Conkeldurr: Concrete mixed by Conkeldurr is much more durable than normal concrete, even when the compositions of the two materials are the same.

I would definitely consider the Ruins of Alph a wonder since Unown rarely leave their own dimension, so something must be really special about those Ruins for them to all want to stay there for so long. Also because of all the art on the walls depicting the various Unown, and the slide puzzles featuring other ancient Pokémon.

Bellsprout Tower was quite impressive. The whole thing was supported with only one moving pillar.

How did he forget N's castle like that thing is huge and probably the biggest feat of engineering in the Pokemon universe. This thing is some how lifted out of the ground, was built under the Pokemon league without anyone knowing, had bridges that were expelled from the castle into the Pokemon league, and then still survived years later after falling back into the ground as you can see in BW2.

Micheal when talking about the sun and moon towers: THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THING IS THE PLUMBING! Me: oh, sure. Forget the fact that it can be used as a trans-dimensional warp-gate and legendary summoner. Let’s focus on how the water stays at a constant level without overflowing.

More than wandering woods, I was always intrigued by Turnback cave in the Sinnoh games. The fact that there is a place in the Pokemon world that has a connection to another REALM is AWESOME.

18:30 Turnback Cave is more impressive because its another place that randomizes the rooms but also the conection between the pokemon world and the Distortion is weaker. There is even a Distortion world portal in Giratina's room (only in Platinum). And like Rayquaza with sky pillar Giratina found it cool enough to choose it as its resting place when it visits the pokemon world because it connects its two homes

I'm not a Johto fanatic but I can list some wonders from there Natural ones: - Tohjo Falls or Mt. Silver - Whirls of Whirl Islands Man-mande ones: - Sprout Tower - Burned Tower and Bell Tower

Hoenn and Unova with 3 Wonders each: The Chads

I feel like places like Sootopolis are made BECAUSE of the bond people share with Pokemon. I'm betting Psychic Pokemon, Water Pokemon, and Fighting Pokemon lended a hand in the creation of the "city". Also I think a good one for the man made wonders that wasn't here, was Geosenge Town, based on Stonehenge, which is one of the wonders of the REAL world, and for natural wonders, Reflection Cave from Kalos as well. That cave is SO gorgeous, and it looks like it's man made, but no. It's all natural extremely reflective crystal. So reflective, that trainers can see you trying to walk behind them, and challenge you to battle. I like how it looks in the anime as well-the mirror world was super odd touch but kinda cool.

Sinjoh ruins could also be considered as a wonder

I feel like the Ruins of Alph and the Sinjoh Ruins could also qualify as a wonder of the Pokémon world

I’m impressed that the monument in Turfield isn’t on the man made wonders. It may not be an architectural wonder, but it is still mesmerizing and impressive to see.

Something cool to think about is that for a lot of the artificial “wonders,” the most likely reason they were even remotely possible to construct was because of the assistance of pokemon. The bond between people and pokemon truly is amazing.

I can't believe you didn't include sprout tower in at least the honorable mentions. That tower has a swaying central support pillar, that can not be sturdy.

I just wish they included the space time tower from the rise of darkrai movie in sinnoh games cuz those towers were BEAUTIFUL and was very tall, yea not as tall as sky pillar or dragonspiral tower but still they were tall. Plus imagine the redesign in BDSP

I think that the submarine tunel from B2W2 could be one of the modern wonders.

The one thing missing in the natural wonders in my opinion is the mushroom forest in Galar. It’s a forest of giant bioluminescent mushrooms that’s impressive.

I would consider the glimwood tangle atleast an honorable mention for the natural wonders. It is one giant biolumenescent forest that has such a thick canopy it is black during the day

I've always liked Sootopolis. It's basically a reverse moat: instead of a circle of water surrounding a fort, it's a circle of land in the middle of the ocean containing a small city

1:31 I just got a huge nostalgia trip from remembering the Eon Flute flying in ORAS.

I would argue that a group of interconnecting ocean caves that reach fairly far below sea level surrounded by never ending whirlpools that's considered home to the guardian of the sea would be considered a wonder of the Pokemon world.

Sootopolos has always been my favorite city in Pokemon, so in my fan made region, there is a city that was formed by an earthquake between 2 volcanoes, that made a large crater like ditch, and ancient people built there city there. Its based off of ancient Assyrian cities( my region is based off Turkey)

In reality Winding Woods has teleporters in the dark entrances that teleports you everywhere

I always assumed that the "forest that spits you back at the entrance when you take the wrong path" trope was just supposed to mean that you get easily lost if you go off-track (and instead of cruelly trapping you forever, you mercifully get out of the forest after a while).

You missed the underwater ruins in gen 5. Idk what that was about. I think it was supposed to be the atlantis of that region

I get the impression that the Winding Woods and similar locations are so vast that the player character just gets lost when moving from location to location. So in the transition from one screen to another, the player might have just lost track of where they were and ended up back at the start. They are the"Winding" Woods after all, so maybe the player character ends up looping back on themself.

I’d say the crown should get an honorable mention mostly because Calyrex supposedly saved the entire place from a meteorite strike which is why there are wild fossil Pokémon just casually roaming around. Oh yeah and N’s Castle as well because I mean just look at it.

Cerulean Cave should absolutely be on this list. The mystery shrouding this cave would be wondrous enough for tourists to flock to it just for the sake of taking pictures in front of it. Imagine a huge cave, that people aren’t allowed into, with the rumor that terrifyingly powerful Pokémon reside. That sounds like a wonder to me.

This video ended up being significantly more interesting than I originally thought. I never even thought of how certain structures were built.

It feels like the answer to every one of his "how did they do this?" questions is "pokemon"...lol
