The 80th CSX Santa Train The Grand Return

In this video we go down to the panhandle of Virginia to chase the 80th CSX Santa Train as it makes its grand return. We see the train in many notable spots such as Elkhorn City, Kentucky, Dante, Virginia, the Copper Creek Viaduct and many more. While we're down there we also get to see some Freight action as well on the old Clinchfield & the C&O. We even catch a Norfolk Southern Train running through the famed Natural Tunnel.

I'm very glad I got to see the OCS running as a Kentucky Derby earlier this year back in May. Seeing this colorful train was spectacular. Totally worth it.

Great Video! The only thing I have to nitpick about is the Northbound and Southbound directions, Northbound is Designated Westbound On The Big Sandy, and Southbound is Eastbound. The 23 Says it's North and South, and it's very confusing. CSX didn't bother to change the directions from the C&O And Clinchfield Days.

Can tickets be purchased to ride the Santa Train or is by invitation only?

To my knowledge no you cannot buy tickets to ride behind the CSX Santa train. But there are plenty of other Santa trains, north pole, expresses, and polar expresses You can buy tickets for a ride behind. majority of the ones you can ride are tourist railways and railway museums.
