The eighth arrondissement is exceptionally elegant. From the exquisite Pont Alexandre III bridge leading into it from the south, along the famed Champs-Élysées avenue, all the way to the magnificent Parc Monceau, this is one of the finest parts of Paris.
Here’s what we found over the course of a jam-packed day, as part of our Paris Countdown series.

This podcast episode on the 8th district of Paris includes an interview with Gabriel from Iwi cafe and Nat Katz, the canon from the American Cathedral of Paris, as well as our final ranking on the district out of 100. It's everywhere you find podcasts.
A big thanks to Pres Maxson, his version of Champs-Elysees by Joe Dassin is the background music for this video.

Yes, truly elegant. I've been to Paris many times but didn't know there's an "American Cathedral" there. Beautiful camera work and editing on this video.

About Maxim’s I heard it was once a small unknown restaurant, two Americans decided to have dinner there and the man happened to have lost his wallet, the owner offered him their meal. Back to the United States, the man who was a journalist wrote a glowing article, and the restaurant got its fame … 😊

Bonne visite...
