Real money in construction is being an owner. I worked in CM and it’s not a bad field. You can make a decent and above average income but there is a lot of stress and bs involved. They earn it! To truly be killing it, start your own company after you get some experience. I’m in finance now and I think it’s got a lot more potential and has created more income with less work and stress compared to construction management. I don’t think the design side of civil is any better paying than cm from people I’ve known in the business

Super helpful! As long as you have some sort of work-life balance and you aren't sacrificing your health, these are all great industries to explore. No amount of money is worth working yourself to death, in my opinion.
