@@spiritualwarfareserieswe were allowed one religious item on our chain that held our dog tags. We had to find our own medals, but the unit chaplain probably would have some at his office. At the start of the wars the medals were a bit easier to come across, especially when we were headed to the planes to fly over to Kuwait, and in the camps where we got our equipment. Any time that we would travel in and out of Iraq or Afghanistan a chaplain would give his briefing and there would be some boxes of field Bibles, maybe some medals and rosaries, and various brochures sent over by the military chaplain corps. Though we were limited to one item I still had a St Michael medal and a little cross on my tags after that first tour.

I bought it too. It helped me a lot. I pray lots of prayers daily from that book

I’m the only one in our family who was not indoctrinated into masonry. I also tried joining another group similar to masonry. There is always a reason that I evade these groups. We have a lot of Masonic books, plates, rings in our house. I am wondering what to do with my father’s collections, since he passed away.

Someone should start a ministry to warn people of the dangers

Start with Our Lady of Sorrows Novena to determine your greatest defect and hidden mystery. And determine if you have a generational spirit by a Novena to her as well - didn't believe any of it till I tried it...boy did I get a worldview change Daily or try to: 1. Seven Sorrows Rosary or at a minimum 7 Hail Marys for each of the 7 Sorrows while MEDITATING on them!!! 2. Rosary (Flame of Love version) - MEDITATE ON THE MYSTERIES!!! 3. Divine Mercy Chaplet - MEDITATE on the Passion or 14 Stations of the Cross for each decade!!! Key word is MEDITATE on the mysteries and stations of the cross! Will clear it right up! As you practice and pray more it will get easier! 4. Try to eliminate any form of sin, seek out what is sin (even mulling over and enjoying a rather sinful thought matters - sermon on the mount). But as you pray the Rosary you will receive graces on what the right path is and she will clean you out (stomps the serpents head). And as she clears your mind and you become more sensitive - ask Our Lady to reveal your sins that offend the LORD during the Seven Sorrows Rosary - be mindful of your thoughts while you are meditating and watch them to remember what happened during them - she will bring stuff up you forgot or didn't think was a big deal which is so super cool and then confess them. Went from being a trashbag Catholic (major sinner and got married outside his Church smh please pray for my wife's conversion) and thought the LORD did not play a direct role in your life. Just figured urges/interests/extreme interests weren't temptations or obsessions based on societies current views (was very secular due to public school and college/university). To now I am a FULL on super Jesus freak (using my secular lingo to how I would view myself now) that has no idea how the world functions without the LORD, Our Lady, and St. Joseph being in everyone's lives daily as I have never been happier! I have some regret I didn't start praying and meditating sooner but he has gifted me with more days to live and he says to let go of the past :)

Please seek out a good priest for a blessing. In addition to true repentance and hopefully receipt of the sacraments you will be healed. Father may also find it fitting to perform a minor exorcism or something along those lines. The Church has SO many ways of healing and protecting us. Please seek protection from Our Lady always because she can only lead you to her Son. Never give up hope. Do not isolate yourself. God bless 🙏🏽🩵

I was the same and just came back to Catholicism this year. I was Mainly non denominational because I believed in sola scriptura (Bible alone) But learning that Jesus Christ started the Catholic Church and hearing about the diary of St. Faustina through father Goring here in RU-vid I realized that God is a living God, and he can still communicate with people today. Yes, the Bible is there as guidance but Jesus still makes miracles today. That led me to understand why there are saints such as Padre Pío. I’d recommend checking out Father Gorings page and father Mike Schmitz. They helped out in guiding me home. God bless.

I often wonder how that works while not being done in person. I've done a live online session and then some older clips. My question is, how come that works, but you can't go to confession over the phone, and the Holy Mass online is not valid in fulfilling Sunday obligation.

@@spiritualwarfareseries In my trauma work with clients I recommend the following method to remove flashbacks, memories etc. When the memory pops up in your mind, visualise the memory/flashback being wrapped as a present or package and then hand it over to God - let Him take it. Forgiveness is a prerequisite for completely getting rid of the memories/flashbacks 🙏

@nancylyon-gray3499 : The word is consecrate. The meaning of CONSECRATE is dedicated to a sacred purpose. The blessed mother is Mary the mother of Jesus. Therefore to consecrate someone would be to dedicate someone for a sacred purpose through Mother Mary to God

It basically means to entrust them to the intercession of Virgin Mary. There are inumerable testimonies throughout the history of the Catholic Church that her intercession is incredibly powerful (including stopping wars, for example).

There are a lot of explanations online for example on catholic answers ( on Marian consecration). The easiest - I always placed my 4 children into the heart of Jesus mom ( and Jesus too) , today they are young adults and thank God, all faithful to the Lord.

From my understanding (someone correct me if im wrong), yes, it's still valid. It is valid with proper intention, words, and matter (water, oil, wine, bread, etc). Sacraments are a gift of God, the Holy Spirit. Just like baptism, confirmation or marriage have a spiritual mark, vocation to Holy Orders also seals them with a spiritual mark. Thus does not guarantee heaven, it's a sign they've been consecrated for serving God in this vocation, and it's up to them to stay in a state of grace, even thought the sacraments are still valid. However, the potency of the blessing / prayer is affected by the holiness of the individual. Fr Ripperger once asked a group of priests, would you rather someone like Padre Pio offer a Mass for you, or ...
