The first reason why time machine should be invented: There are lots of important levels that are deleted forever in GD, we should found it

As someone who played titan when it came out (on mobile lol), the reason there was no copies is because he had them off and copy hack wasn't a thing yet / was very obscure I hope one day it's somehow is found

It’s weird how my 7 year old comment about me beating the level on practice is part of how people find me and ask about the level, I fear I did disappoint people because I don’t remember much about the level and couldn’t rebuild anything from memory. It’s frustrating but I never could have guessed Ice Carbon Titan X would be so mysterious. I do hope this level can be found in SOME way in the future even if it’s several years from now. (I can’t help with recovering the level please don’t ask about it)

Hi, MatMart, i guess this is the right time to tell something about what i remember back in the day, I was in a birthday party (I was probably 9 years old) and some friends that played gd back then got into a room, i think it was the birthday guy's parent's room and me and my friends grabbed our phones and started betting about who got the furthest on the hardest levels in the game, i remember playing icdx and getting like 3% and winning a bag of chips lol. I actually had a memory of what could have been ice carbon titan, i remember weeks back playing sohn's the hell series and they had these ¨diamonds¨ which were four spikes in a diamond shape, well i remember a gary bg and a black ground section where these diamonds were used and i remember it was like just 30% into the level (before i gave up) and it was hard as hell featuring tight orb jumps with the diamonds and ships passing through them, i do not want any recognition i just want to restore some of my favorite game's history, keep up the good work mate!

Remember when Stormfly went insane over Element 111 Rg? That was cool

There is also some geometry dash lost media that I wish to find, not just for the sake of finding it but because I genuinely wanted to see it. Apparently the creator of Bloodlust would stream himself building the level, but the streams are lost.

Thank you Mat for allowing me to work on this! Getting this opportunity allowed me to better my editing and being part of such an emotional and just straight up awesome video is incredible. Also great job to all the other editors for making such an absolute banger.

This video was really good. It reminded me that a friend of mine who passed in 2019 had some levels and playing them made me pretty sad. I wish I could find them again but his user seems lost to time and I doubt those levels are even on the server.

I remember the exact moment I played this back then, as I was proud to have RoadBose in my friends list and would always check his levels, in spite of many people not believing it was actually him. Unfortunately, trying to remember a level after 7 years is an impossible task. Furthermore, nobody at the time would’ve expected that it’d be deleted and that it’d become this famous lol. It was just another supposedly random level among many others, at least for me. PS: I can’t be of any help unfortunately, so don’t ask me any questions as I won’t be able to reply

Well, just a pretty attractive thumbnail for me outside a random video which led me to the second theory GD topic vid in my short weekend. This really change my mind about geometry dash gameplay also their community, makes me become more and more appreciated to every experience I’ve been through, makes me try harder instead of just rage quitted like before or threw everything in my range. And moreover helps me to know that how worth and valuable this geometrical shape with its dash movement is. Thank you so much MatMart, you have given me another chance to come back to this amazing and fun life gift.

when when 2.1 came out, i started playing geometry dash, but since my parents didnt let me buy the original, i installed it through mediafire, and have still got 2.1 version saved, so in theory if someone's got the exact vesrion with ictx saved, we could have it restored

Even though I’ve only played Geometry Dash light and it’s super hard, it’s still good to have history like this. Who knows maybe even people can use the ideas for actual levels.

Amazing video, Mat, but i want to point out one thing. Roadbose said he wanted to fix his past, and so he quit. But i did an interesting discovery: if you go to his last account, Roadkiller, there are 2 posts. One of them is 3 months ago, and the second only 1 week ago. I tried to make this question in a Stormfly video, but with the popularity of this i will make also here: are these posts published by Roadbose himself; or it's just an impersonator?

i know there was a transition to a brighter theme from 12 to 14 percent of the actual level the hard wave part was mainly saws scatered . this is all from what remember or found on my pc

I know I played this many many years ago back on mobile, since it was in the era where I cared about the impossible levels, but since my hardest was iirc Nine Circles, I gave up after only getting a small bit into practice mode. Obviously now having known this level to be deleted for years, I've regretted (much like many others) never finishing the practice run or trying to download a copyable (since copy hack was technically available at the time).

i faintly remember playing a level on the recent tab, that had the exact same first part as Titan X, it was a carbon copy the level was also fairly long as well. I will check my played levels through late 2021-mid 2022 but im not sure

That way, we can get details from him about Ice Carbon Titan X. It may not work since Roadbose deleted the copy of Titan X. If it does work, then we can split the money between each of us. Roadbose was so far ahead of his time. I wish there wasn't so much negativity in this community, especially back then. Just a few years later, extremely hard and impossible levels like Death Corridor and Silent Circles would become huge spectacles in the community. Absolute underappreciated legend for his time.

I remember the ice carbon series and I might’ve actually played this level but skipped past it and when I don’t get far into a level I snag a copy of it and practice it but I started that months after playing that

When you delete a file, it is either at the end or start of a storage unit, if it is at the start, it will get over written in seconds, but however, it is near the end, it might take months, or even years given the size of gd servers to grt overeritten, so that level might be somewhere deep in the servers, not public to anyone, invisible, but code and data here, waiting to grt over written, only on whatever server hosts gd, might be gone, might take years to search through all that data.

You could try using the wayback machine.I doubt it will help but you could still try it.

I've never heard of Geometry Dash lost media until now. It's incredibly sad to me that most of the level has been lost to time.

i had a copy of this level on my old ipad that had been traded in years ago. This was also on my old account that I still have no idea how to log into I have some memory of of the copy code but that has no use

The way this is put makes it seem like a true lost media.

It could have something with the wayback time machine, 1. Go to the exact date it was uploaded 2. Win the whole level 3. You need to record the level completion since if not we have to go back to the first step. 4. Make the level in the newer gd. Thats all information i have to restore the level!

This is technically more mysterious than lost songs like "Like the Wind" because its more difficult to reconstruct a gd level (because deco) than to find a lost song
