I would probably choose 1min and not auto. As you Will notice, the clouds and stars will pick up speed and slow down. This is due to gopro being on auto interval. Some shots take 31sec to process, some 32, some 30. So you end up with photos that are out of sync. Even tho they are taken every "30" seconds, this doesnt include the procedsing time. 1 min will alloe the gopro to process the picture and stay time synced and your clouds will roll by consistantly the same speed.
Id like to know what intelligent energy is . All the atoms in the galaxy if you took all space out between their make up it whats solid ..would not fill a child 6 shoe box. How is all this wispy “stuff” arrange it self so we have coffee tables and some of it are souls that animate a living body or a ghost manifesting What a great play with actors .
Great tuto!! I've already suscribed these videos are very helpful. Just one question, supposing that I want to make a time lapse of a sunset of the city and then (in the same video same shot ) I want to make a night lapse of that city. How do I suppose to deal with the settings? Do I have to change ( in the right moment lets say when it's all sky dark and light cities on) from "timelapse" to "nightlapse" in order to capture both day and night lapse? Thanks hope you help me!
You could just shoot it with similar settings in time-lapse photo mode and see how the images turn out. I wouldn't expect too much though. For shoots like this you want to use a DSLR and adjust the settings while shooting the sunset and have the camera carry on after the lighting conditions don't change anymore. I would use the application LRTimelapse to edit your photos.
Hi, What are these white dots that do not move with the movement of the earth? You can see them clearly on the top right. I have a lot of such "stars" in my film.
Love it thank you for sharing this amazing piece with step by step guide and easy to follow directions I can’t wait to try it out thanks so much and keep safe from 🇮🇪🫶🏻
Hi! Nice video! I have a question. So i have a GoPro Hero Session, and i'm always trying to shoot time lapses with photos. But, the photos are 8MP, Wide FOV, 3264 x 2448 screen resolution. My quiestion is, how can i make those photos "fit" on the 1080 aspect ratio?!
Great Video, I'm facing some problems with my Gopro hero 5 camera and I'm wondering if others facing the same problems! 1- Some times the camera hang and won't be able to turn off the camera or do any function. 2- While recording in Time labse mode, the timer so slow and not same as the actual time. 3- The voice control in the camera not 100% correct, form example if i say Gopro stop recording the cam will start to record. Please share your experience.
ahmed abushar Hey mate, I had similar issues early on. In terms of the hanging, two things helped me: Update the firmware, pretty sure you can do it via the app. Look at your SD card, I bought the Sandisk extreme, if you can afford extreme pro then that will be even better since the extreme still suffers a little lag when shooting hi res video
Can you please make a video about how to make a night lapse on the gopro hero session? and a video for the best video settings for the gopro hero session?PLEASE
Reha, is Adobe Lightroom the best program for editing? Also, is there no way of simply getting a good night time time lapse with just the GoPro itself?
Hey man. the biggest issue for me is that when I shoot the time lapse in photo-mode GoPro takes a 4:3 square photo. I want a 16:9. What's the best way to get that without stretching the image. Nobody talks about it in their tutorials :(. I really don't want to zoom in to make it a 16:9 as it crops so much that I would want in my picture! Please help
You are not stretching the image, but cropping in. Something the camera would also do, if it would be supporting 16:9 in photo mode. The 4:3 image is much bigger than 1080p, so you are not loosing any image quality. See here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5eAE-rljKdQ.html
I got it what you meant. one more question sir if you could help. As there is no ev control in night photo mode. so is there any way by which i can have perfectly exposed frames of light trails. I have set other settings as required like min and max ISO to 100. Is there anything else I can do?
Reha Alev I have the same question, is there another way to control the exposure, in some conditions even with the lower shutter speed and iso the image still looks so bright.
Reha Alev that's too bad. I didn't look it up because I was quite sure that raw was possible at any mode. I guess I was wrong. But now I already got it. Is therr any chance that a future software update make that possible? I feel ashamed to say that one of the reasons I bought this camera was because of this. Too bad.
this is really cool. i have the GoPro Hero 4 and just made a 5 hour time lapse of the sky in my back garden which made for some dramatic changes inn the sky as i condensed it down to just 1 minute. Be great if you could check it out, latest video on my channel. Thanks and i look forward to watching more of your videos
Reha, I am going to do a 24/7 time-lapse outside at a well-lighted construction site. Please give me some settings advice for the Hero5 Black. Do you think I need to make camera adjustments at every sunrise/sunset, as well as what settings? Thanks.
