I agree, except for one thing. The archival aspect. It's interesting to get people's first reaction to something that you're already used to. There is a video of a little girl watching Star Wars OT for the first time, and the moment the famous moment in Empire happens, her jaw drops. It's easy to forget, but that was a major twist back in the day. I think it's more interesting to see someone's first reaction to something they've never seen, especially when it comes to stuff like video games. I'm more interested in seeing someone play Super Mario Bros for the first time, rather than see some expert who knows every single byte of the game inside and out pull off frame perfect tricks to get optimal time. The former is interesting, the latter is boring.
