The ceili (set) dancing has a good gender balance, but the demographic tends to be older people. Then the step dancing does the ceili partner dances, but it's always 100% female. It's a shame there are no men the age of these dancers, dancing with these women. The question has to be asked, why is this so? Is it the culture? Why don't the men want to dance with the women? It's a valid question.
