saw them in boston-----front row---center seats-----what you can not see is small chips of plexiglass flying all over the place--those taps would destroy wood----custom cut and installed as a kit----the front seats were about 5 feet away from stage----so the audience would not be showered by the chips-----i have lived in the all irish south boston for most of my life-----they have a strong tie to the IRA in ireland and hate the british army-------violently---------

Thanks to the traditional Irish dance performers for such spectacular performances that helped make someone's best day ever in their life through a drawing, thanks to their performance.

Try MSM, and cutting out all sugar and gluten (all wheat flour, I use almond, rice, even gluten-free oat & buckwheat flour on occasion) ...it saved my life ...I was curling up in a ball & could barely move till I went on a Keto diet basically & added supplements like MSM. Sugar is high-octane food for viruses & bacteria & feeds cancer. Some doctors speculate that arthritis is at least exacerbated by bacteria &/or viruses in our joints as we age ...if not a direct cause. @@JulianChild Not being Irish leaves me at a disadvantage. However, I have enjoyed Irish dancing, and my wife and children saw a live performance of Mr Flatley in Lord of the Dance. I am deeply sorry if my remarks offended anyone. At my age visiting Ireland isn't likely. But I and maybe others would like to understand why 'that man's name ' not be mentioned there. Please enlighten us.🙂🤔

@@davidmichigan8542 No, it was wrong of me to make that statement. There's enough negativity out there in the world and I shouldn't contribute to it. My apologies. Flatley just made some unpopular decisions and that's all I'll say about that. His talent, however, was undeniably awesome. If you really have the desire, there are plenty of bus tours of Ireland and I hear they're quite enjoyable.

Same. If it adds something, by all means use your hands. But I feel a lot of the time it’s just thrown in there which makes it look sloppy, even…strange.

You know the history right? The English oppressors forbid the Irish language, dancing and traditions ...sometimes on pain of imprisonment or worse. They began to use soft shoes and continued dancing but left out the arms (like the Scots still use) to draw less attraction to themselves. It's actually quite a painful scab on the national Irish psyche and a memory that still haunted my Irish grandmother.

My aunt used to be one of the senior dancers. She hasn’t been able to perform for a while because of her being sick.

I just realized: this is th academy. My aunt doesn’t dance for them but this is the stage that her troupe dances on at the Irish festival my apologies
