The Achievements in This Roguelike ALMOST BROKE ME 

Roguelikes are clearly good challenges so when I do another in the future, what are some good ones to achievement hunt/challenge myself with?

Skul the hero slayer is another rougelike that is fun and has 72 achievements I hope you try it out

Funny thing is, when the difficulty system was first introduced during the game’s early access a few months back (I’d bought the game a week into its early access a year ago), I’d gotten all the way up to Breakdown 15 with the first ending due to Major being the last boss before Life became the actual final boss on official release. I didn’t think much of the Max Difficulty achievement being hard considering how used to the enemies I fought throughout the months. Big congrats on getting that achievement!

I am suprised you are not as popular i thought you were at like 1mil. but you are really underrated love the editing and the thumbnails cant wait for you to blow up one day.

There are too many channels on youtube that cheat their way out of accomplishing the achievements themselves by glitching or having someone else do it because they want to have them all for the sake of the video in a timely manner, so I appreciate that you were upfront about which ones you didn't complete and why; it's a lot more entertaining and you feel a lot more legit imo. Gj on the breakdowns ! You should try stuff like Hollow Knight or something, it's challenging but I think you can definitely manage the pantheons.

When I played through the game, I thought you had to beat life on every difficulty to progress, and I did that.

Me thinking of having 200+ hours in Dead Cells and still haven’t finished 5BC

After seeing the little descriptions of each Breakdown Level above the modifiers it gives, I'm now curious about what the other ones say and what 'part' of Breakdown 15 they contributed to it (AKA What part they added out of Breakdown 15's modifiers)

I recommend Dungreed, it is a very good rougelike with very fun gameplay.

I've got the strike and items achievements just fine, but stuff like notebook is actually bugged as it doesn't seem to trigger an entry in "tutorial". Yeah, I can't tell how the devs want you to get the soul counter achiement. This ain't some MMO that you'd grind for years to come. I'm barely at 27 million after some 30 hours on one save and you can't even AFK and let it go up, cause they game pauses itself. It's like they knew someone would try that. I'd say they've either not think these through or there's some super secret tricks to make these super easy, but they're not sharing those.

Lost Castle is a pretty solid sidescrolling roguelite with a bunch of cool bosses, but it's decently difficult.

West of dead has a beautiful art style and fun gameplay loop. Could you try it out?

This game is hard in a way that it wants you to never get hit and doesn’t want to give you any heals. It’s not a fun challenging hard.

Enter the gungeon is quite difficult to platinum, so that could be quite fun to 100%

For the descriptions in the handbook, you only need to unlock the first paragraph, not completely fill it out. Once you unlock every weapon you'd get that one. The soul counter one must be bugged too bc from what I've read it shouldn't take anywhere near that long. I read it should only take 10 to 20 hours. I'll check if I have it tomorrow bc I've played longer than that. I have a feeling that rumor narrative quest is messed up too. With you having played as long as you have and beaten every difficulty, you should have gotten it. The curses would take the longest bc it's random. You'd have to have a list and mark which ones you don't have and make sure you picked them. The penalty ones would take even longer.

These terraria music's playing in the background sure fit the theme of the game.

I maxed out the soul counter after about two weeks, I didn’t even play that much, about 1 to 2 runs per day. Was I just lucky?

Maybe get in line and word on the street were bugged for you or me but I got both of those in around 40hrs I think? I have like 80 in the game now because I thought you had to fight life to "finish" everytime. Hopefully just fighting time will make it easier to get through.

ok I have played this game here is a word o advice. there is a spell that summons up these little colored lights that are square it is a epic spell. if you can get both the ability to turn 10 damage to 1 a few restinces to damage and the ability to both on getting attacked permently gain one health and mana just farm health and mana just me it is worth it. go for any upgrades that improve spell damage or your abilty to spam your spells yes those little lights deal 12 points a pop ain't much but it give five of them. just spam them seariously also bosses have imunity frames when a red halo is around them they can't be dammage or or grimes he has to fully form then about a second or two after that he can be hit. the miskitoes are also good level three has life steal. if you can for the bosses you ust need to dodge and attack from long range or over welm then quickly. one you beat the game the first time get every upgrade for the elevator it will give you extra contracts to get if you are going the spell route aim for things that increase your magic and if you can take the thirty damage for a epic wepond since you could get what you need real quick. the most powerful build I have made was bleed 10 to 1 health and mana or hit restisance to damage butter flies per attack twice and the summon colored paper that and a lot of spell damage upgrades. spells are broken if you can use them right and get lucky. also the raretys does mean everything a legendary wepond can be terrrible and a common can be very useful or any rarety inbetween. the game is difficult but fulfiling and the story is good I would recomend playing the game also don't go straight to brad since your first level is always a hr level so you get a upgrade. also it is better to take a longer time per run fighting through levels and getting much more powerful since you can go to plimkin at the begining if you play enough but even with boulder rain and maskito two legendary abilities I could not beat him. here is my personal adivce for each boss brad targeting attack weponds he will fly in a sloped ark one way then striaght across at half health his smash attack will summon bolders when he makes it rain bolders stay to the conors if he starts above you then move right a little then back since those two bolders are far enough apart to be able to just move between them. for brads alter ego he is much tougher he has a lazer attack best to hang under him when that happens he has chopping and swinging attacks that you can dash through but hang to the corners and dash through then run. for grimes just watch the blobs that he throws out also easiest way to fight his is from afar he has a long damage window when he is at half health the animation needs to stop then he opens his eyes and about I think a second after that he will be able to take damage. when he shots gunk straight at you dash through it trust me it won't hurt you. for wally there is phase one when he is in his mech and phase two when he is on the ground for the mech it has a few attacks hang from the sealing and shots a jet of grease in a angle down just dash to the other side a one blade to the ground dash through that when he summons the red orbs that go towords you stay to the conner and then dash when they move twice by the time they get to the other conner they will have despond you can dash through his rush move. when he is on the ground he will fly at you with his chain saw stay to one side but not to close since he will swing it at you when he jets at you with a bottle stay to the conner and don't move your first instint is to just his attack will get you stay at the very endge of the conner and it will do nothing. when he does the double chainsaws to the ground you will need to dash through his also he is smart enough to put a chain saw behind him so no more free damage. the crab can be killed from long range he will snap twords you but if you stay in the cornner he won't be able to do much if he dashes twords you jump and move to the other side. he will spawn two little crabs they will jump and shot a little orb at you kill then first then the big guy. now for max dont go to max his attacks are complicated and are very hard. he can make the little hands rain from the sky so you have to daudge them and after he goes to half health he will make a large line of them rain as well he has targeting lightning that will go after you he tends to stay in the air out of easy hitting range he has a breath attack that will push you back then slam you at the end. for the majar here is what to look out for destroy his nuke when he tries to launch it yes you can shade dash through the damage but it is dificult when he summons his dragon flamethrower at a sertain point there will be a gap that you can dash throught that will make the fire balls at the end disapear. he also makes it rain down rockets they are easy enought to just daudge. he also summons a pair of rockets that rain fire down apon you go in the oposite dirrect that they are going and when they stop shotting fire dash to the other side. for the natural distaster lady she is chaos and I hate her you just need to out last her with health and deal a lot of dealth she has more health than you would think and the same when red no damage. lastly time first you have to face the fates they are tough and I have not fought them enought to get it down to a science they have a long charge/slide attack they make string that can hurt you go across the area only four peices. for time seariesly he is weak at the begining then gets crazy after he goes down to half health he can even use the frease time ability on you can he will hit you just rain hell on him and have a large health bare. I have only managed to fight life three times and won twice all I can say is that the second half all your abilities and upgrades go away but her health is greatly decreased. this is my person guide and advice spells are broken

So. I personally just 100%-ed Death's Door. And Souldiers. Souldiers...will take over 100 hours to 100%...which is kinda annoying. Because you have to play through it 4 times. But fantastic games. Ive been looking at Have a nice Death too..wishlisted forever :D

the struggle against bosses is real and on breakdown 15 is hell.. i beat last two bosses hitless (time and life) after 100 plus tries... with 210 hours playing time
