Thank you for sharing this great lists of records. Yes, I laud individuals who take great care of their records. The historic importance is to be respected. Machine Gun Jacket looks great and to have that in your collection is an honor to that artist.
I will keep an eye out for these gems next time I go crate digging!!!...I love that factory sample sticker as I have always had a "thing" for "Sample Only Not For Sale" stickers and PROMO Labels....Great pick ups Michael
You're not the only one with a "thing" for Sample Only Not For Sale" stickers and PROMO Labels! I guess that makes us official crate digger aficionados.
What a great video, I am not a collector, just someone who has enjoyed his music for many many years. I am amazed that there are LP's out there that are in the condition that you have showed today. My oldest LP's are from 1977 when I started work and could afford to buy the occasional LP, my copies are used, well played and not stored in the way that I do today, and sadly in some cases the sleeves are damaged (cats used them as a scratching post). Such a great channel and constantly giving me ideas for new material in my collection, thanks Michael, keep it going.
Wow what a fascinating selection of rare LPs. The Acid Test was re released as a Record Store Day release a few years back but sadly not in the UK (at least I have never seen it here). The Jazz LPs look wonderful.
@@Michael45RPM yes you collect the best ! In understand! It is so nice to obtain a kind of mint og 🙂 I have a basic set up : rega planar 2 with maranz nr1200 and kef speakers. Do i need audiophile records to play or is that better with large expensive set ups?
Peter Brotzman R.I.P. Machine Gun & Nipples is another. Isn’t Brotzman on an ESP Disk release as well? That record features LeRoi Jones-Amiri Baraka. Another legend. True Rebel.
The Jazz Dispensory’s from RSD will be cherished like some of these Analog Productions did a terrific job on John Lee Hooker’s ISYTS A few I like Paul Chamber’s band leader albums Sam Cooke - first albums on Keen The Brian Eno Obscure Records set of lps of independent artists (Galvin Bryars, Penguin Cafe Orch.)
