Was worried they wouldnt do the book justice but holy shit, everything about that series was so haunting and powerful. They expanded on everything that made the book great.
Joe Nugent I personally had to do a lot of research after watching. I decided to read the last few chapters of the book to see what the killer’s (I won’t say for the sake of not spoiling) motivation was...it also wasn’t explained very well in the book too and I couldn’t bother reading it from the beginning lol, and it hit me like a bomb and it was all answered. Kinda disappointed Gillian Flynn didn’t develop the plot twist that well-we’re left sitting there with a bunch of ‘why’s’ and ‘who’s’
@@VideosOfRandomContext when the show came out my sister bought the book after the 1st episode and skipped to the end to see who the killer was. It was the hardest thing I've done regarding her to convince her not to spoil who it was. I don't understand why people do that. Why ruin the ending by reading it first? So annoying
@@VideosOfRandomContext to be fair the show is more of a character study than a "who done it." I've noticed that's something that Flynn does a lot, utilizing typical crime film plots to twist them into in-depth character studies full of commentary. If you view the show for what it set out to do, it's near perfect.
They opened an Alt J concert i went to while i was on mushrooms and I'd never heard them before and they played this song and it felt like the music was coming from inside me and emenating outwards. I felt like i was in the heart of a jungle. Such an amazing experience.
+Miguel Yeah I'm sure his third eye opened at the first two minutes. And if you want an answer to your question, Were you not there to catch it with your mouth when he opened his brown eye? oh that's right. you wouldn't be so "funny" if you were. you would be puking because what you just said is rather sickening. hope I brought you the same emotion upon reading this.comment.
The little animal sounds in the background are just 🤌🏾 chefs kiss. I’ve never heard anything like this before. It gives you a such an out of body experience listening to this masterpiece, like you’re watching yourself in the third person or somethin.. Idk how else to explain it, but I am SO so so happy I finally decided to watch Sharp Objects. I knew I was gunna be in for some serious shit because miss Gillian Flynn does not hold back with shedding light on violence; especially against women, and I really admire her for that. That women aren’t just seen as this innocent, unassuming, non-threat to others. Anyone is capable of depravity, you just have to be in the right circumstance. I will now be reading the book and watch the show all over again, because I didn’t realize just now many clues there would be throughout the show, and will definitely be on the lookout for those!!
The entire soundtrack in this series was just so perfect. It was a hot summer, but you got chills from the music. This contrast was amazing. I absolutely love it. And this one along with "Ghost" was a great part of it. Keep up the good work and thank you
The intro of this song was also used in a movie from 2016 called "The Eyes of My Mother" which is an incredible yet disturbing black and white film. Highly reccomend!
Still one of my favorite songs of all time. Ry X's further ventures with Howling are equally trippy, but this particular unnerving, macabre, spiritual tread through a digital jungle is unmatched.
Tonight I fall from far below I'm ready for Dimensional, connection gold I'm highest from Tonight I walk with matter gone I'm ready for Some mystery lost and died alone I'm highest from Tumbling Lights Come Tumbling Lights Go Tumbling Lights Come Tumbling Lights Go Tonight I call and shock the phone Already gone Dimension 'round the spirit fall I'm highest... Tumbling Lights Come Tumbling Lights Go Tumbling Lights Come Tumbling Lights Go
For anyone else that was trying to figure out where you'd heard the bells at the beginning before, the silent realm music in skyward sword is super similar
Karlita Marysol Rquelme. Listening to things with a clear mind and body will bring you the closest to the mindset of the artist. If it comes from the heart, it's felt in the heart. Inebriation will only cloud your minds eye and souls heart...
I disagree. Sobriety is clouded with expectations, distracting thoughts of past and future, revelations and distaste. The delicate effects of substances elevate the mind beyond its earthly tether, and add new dimensions and elements to music which allow one to not only hear the music, but also to feel, see, and understand it. That my friend, opens the minds eye.
Adam Freeland... as soon as I saw this name it made sense as to how creepily eargasmic and insane this track is. This song has kept me alive this year. It suits being bound in a weird trauma bond and learning to dissociate simply to survive. Sharp objects indeed.
Who's here because they've only just glanced at the comments briefly and have absolutely no idea what how to get away with murder is?! And heard the acid from "the bomb" on Netflix? 😂
+Megan Fish I already did and this randomly started playing in a list when I started at Ry & Frank Howling. And within the first minute I stopped what I was doing to see what I was listening to.
Holy Muthhhhhhhhhhhhha my in ear earphones felt like a giant forest was about to fall from behind me.... Or like a massive sky falling upon me...... Reminds me of that odd dream ive been having
