'The Acolyte' Ep 7 Answers Some Big Questions (TV Review) 

I think the best way to be consume this show is going to be to read a plot summary and then watch a super cut of the cool fight scenes.

Horrible, horrible scripts, with some cool fight scenes. Still not as stupid as Boba Feta, but this is pretty bad. Come on Andor Season 2

A 2 hour cut of the whole series might be interesting. I saw an Obi-Wan... one.... and even though there was the odd dodgy bit of editing, you really didn't notice anything missing (the entire bit on the ocean Imperial base is gone and you barely notice).

I wish they'd portrayed this story in the order events happened. They could have focused on Sol's hesitance to tell Mae and Osha the truth and trying to keep them from falling to the dark side. The weird part is it this is hard to place this show in the Star Wars TV shows because most of them are so bad. The good is Andor, Mandalorian (minus season 3), and that's it. The others are various shades of bad and as poorly as this was done, I think it still is better than Boba Fett, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka. The fight scenes are some of the most interesting they've done.

I have a feeling this show was originally six episodes and in the editing they decided to separate the flashback into two. And then to make it an even number episode count they split Day/Night into two episodes.

I didnt have the impression that the flashack was from Sols perspective in that literal of a sense. Its not like episode 3 was anyone's singular retelling (what with some scenes not having mae or osha in it at all), so I don't know why this would be. My read was that we are witnessing what Osha is seeing inside the cortosis helmet because that was the last scene of last episode. Kinda like a force trance exposition dump.

Torbin's last name will be revealed as Skywalker. He looks like Anakin. And he has the same whine as Anakin "I hate sand" and Luke "I was going to Toche Station!" Torbin is the grandfather of Shmi Skywalker. Calling it. Torbin Skywalker.

Acolyte episode 7 showed us how lacking the project is in compelling story ideas by giving us the unthinkable. A clip show.

I don't think they will even answer anything. In the episode Indara talks to Sol about him giving people answers to soothe their minds while she likes to let her student figure things out on his own. I think they'll take us halfway there with clues but it's up to the audience to figure out what happened. That would be kinda cool.

Man I defended this show from a friend who had given up on it before it had even come out and even after the 2 episode premiere I was still hopeful, but as it's gone on so many of it's creative decisions has proven so confusing. What a mess... how does this keep happening with Lucasfilm stuff??

How did it take 7 episodes for you to realize this was BAD

Maybe re-edited into a movie this would be great.

Show been frustrating since the beginning. We kept having to say "lets wait and see if they are able to explain things so scenes make sense". Well. Things still don't make since and there one episode left. Everyone looks dumb and I honestly don't care about any character other then the "Stranger". This show was supposed to be more about the Sith side but they haven't done a good job at telling a Sith story at all. I've said it before. There good ideas for a story but the logic, knowledge, execution is awful.

Utter garbage, total betrayal to Lucas' vision and concept...
