I don't think it was the fire that killed all the witches, Mae must have either poisoned all of them with those poisonous flowers from that tree, before she started the fire, or she sabotage those engine looking things in the village.
I agree with you. Andor and Ahsoka were entertaining, especially the former. Still five episodes to go for The Acolyte series. Lets continue to give this show a chance by remaining cautiously optimistic by viewing with a open mind detached from negativity bias. At the end of the day, we are social creatures. As such, for better or worse, humans are susceptible to the influence of hive mind...the current group think trend of espousing toxicity amidst the omnipresent review bombing.
It's not like that! Great Mother Aniseya used her dark magic to manipulate the force, to create Mae and Osha. The witches in Star Wars lore, from what I know, are capable of doing everything with their magic. Nightsisters, for example, can bring dead back to life and could heal Maul. They do have connection to the force, so I wouldn't be surprised if they could manipulate the force with the magic to create life as well!
When they bring the dead back to life, it's more reanimating with magic. And healing isn't the same as full on creating life out of nothing. We know Darth Plagueis could create life, but he was also very wise and powerful in the dark side. I just don't know how to feel about these random witches being able to do that because I don't think we've ever seen other witches, like Nightsisters, full on create life.
