The shareholders are still getting their dividend. The major equity funds are still invested. Evidently, the movies are just one small piece of the Disney empire. They also have massive real estate holdings, cruise ships, destination resorts, theme parks, merchandising, advertising, streaming, linear TV, ESPN, CNN, ABC, etc. Movies have become their 'hobby horse.'

I'm convinced that Kathleen Kennedy wants to ruin Star Wars because of some fucked up personal reason. There were so many failures that it can't be unintentional.
The Phantom Menace had a budget of 50 Million dollars, while the Acolyte had 180 Million dollar budget. Thats 20 Million per episode. Let that sink in.
Stood in line, long lines twice in 1977 for Star Wars. Loved it for decades like millions the world over. It's nothing more then agenda driven identity politics , I don't even recognize it any more. The last 9 or 10 years it's really meant nothing to me. Disney and it's dei b.s. can keep it.
I watched it and thought it was good; but we all know that Conservative has put a curse on anything Disney or has a woman lead and more so if the lead is black.
I'm sure Disney won't sell it but they need to stop making Star Wars content for at least 10 years by that time Kathleen Kennedy & her cronies will hopefully be retired or find something else to screw up

While I want the reboot of the ahsoka show to have clone wars style animation and show what happen to ahsoka during the original trilogy and have her then recon the sequel trilogy using the world between worlds during a post return of the Jedi era and join Luke skywalkers Jedi order but yes until then we need to save Star Wars by letting it die first before we can save it and have Disney sell it off so the fans can save it
