Grievous killed Jedi. Darth Maul killed Jedi. Republic era. Even Cad Bane killed Jedi. Then Darth Vader killed lots of Jedis. I heard they were going to make a photocopy of Arcane. But I am not going to watch it.
Ki Adi Mundi in Episode 1: The sith have been extinct for a thousand years Yet this takes place 200 years before the events of ANH...and a Sith is seen fighting Jedi...Disney's twisting canon again
It could give us a canonical answer to both the line from "Attack of the Clones" and the reason why the Jedi know about the Rule of Two without contradicting Ki-Adi-Mundi's dialogue.
@@gogopartytime By the simple logic that if a Sith has been surviving, it is surely because they have been taking apprentices, so in that option you have two questions, if it is the master or the apprentice. In addition, the Sith have always been known for their eagerness to take everything away from their masters. Therefore, even if several had survived, contrary to the beliefs of the Jedi for a millennium, they cannot be many masters and their respective apprentices, because then they would have created their notorious chaos. There is no indication that the Jedi knew about Darth Bane's post-Sith work, because otherwise, they would have been more concerned and attentive. In the same way that someone with Sith knowledge would have alerted them 800 years after the supposed disappearance of the Sith with only 200 years to go before the events of The Phantom Menace. Let's face it, if 800 years have gone by without discovering any of them and they discover one, 200 years later they are not going to be at ease thinking about their disappearance. There remains the recourse of saying, "they could have been one master and two apprentices or more... Yes, but the reality is that these apprentices don't last long enough among them either because the fittest usually destroys them before they prove to be a real threat to him. So yes, circumstantially there could be more but the most normal thing is that there are two in the same way that if all the Jedi were eradicated and one appears, it is also very likely that it is believed that it either has a master or an apprentice. All this without conditioning the fact that no one knows that there really is a strict rule in the Sith that only allows there to be two, simply to go hidden while they accumulate the power base they require for their dark plans generations later.
Is it a Sith or a dark Jedi? The later appear in plenty of things between those times. It’s kinda impossible to tell what’s going on in the trailer with the copyright filters lol.
Technically, speaking the Jedi believed the Sith to be gone, but they were not Palpatine and his master were lurking in the shadows as was his master's master before him, etc. As for the timeline, they changed it now it's 100 or 50 years before TPM.
Right? Imagine that, in a time where Jedi typically weren't killed by any hunters. It was a pretty rare occurance... I swear all these critics must not really follow the lore. Or they do, but they give in to the dark side way too easily.

(notes from the studio) “is a good comment, but we think it needs more black lesbians. Can we get some more black lesbians in here? “ ”I was thinking the same thing, but a little more varied. I mean, some with dreads, some without. Some shaved heads, some not. Think: Dora Milage with light sabers. Do you see where I’m going here?” “Ohhhh, love it. Love it! that settled. Let’s get sushi! Who wants sushi?”
They keep saying they want to move past George’s vision of SW and then telling stories that impact his vision even if it’s just tearing it down. They said they wanted to have this show have us reimagine the prequels. Congratulations, you are still stuck in his vision because they can’t tell a story that doesn’t connect to that time frame. There’s literally thousands of years of history and they go to 88 years before Phantom to connect to Phantom. It’s not enjoyable that they think we will just be distracted by lightsabers. SW is actually about good and evil. It really is that simple. When the Jedi started being worried about their political power they fell because they were no longer on the side of good. It’s a morality story at its essence. It sounds like they’re just telling a new story about the old story of the prequels with different people. Wasn’t that the whole point of the prequels, to show how power leads to corruption? They basically rewrote Return in Rise and now they’re rewriting the Prequels in this. Way to move past George’s vision. If that’s what you want to call literally clawing everything out of what he created until it’s a hollow shell of what it once was with a fanbase that is divided.
Black hebrew Israelites where purple shes black with a purple robe. Disney turned nation of Islam black national they belive white ppl are the devil read there nation of islam website Malcum x MLK was black nationals
Why don't Disney just make the Trilogy they really want to: Episode 1: Trans Awakening Episode 2: The Last Straight Whitey Episode 3: Rise of the Diverse LGHDTV+ Community
Just imagine the trailer with a David Attenborough voice-over. "And here we are, in a galaxy far, far away, looking hard for the extremely rare, lesser-spotted white male... "
There are 6 movies, and The Clone Wars and The Force Unleashed videogames. That is 100% Lucas. Also try tabletop games "The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebellion" with "Rise of the empire" expansion. You will think that a base box of rebellion for $100 is too much, but it has 153 miniatures. You will need a big table to play and a whole afternoon to play Rebellion. There is an overview video that describes the game. The Clone Wars is a more casual cooperative game, tray to accomplish missions (from the TV show) while preventing droid invasion to be out of control. You will need to buy an eyebrow tweezer to grab miniatures from the base to take them out of the insert to play, because miniatures are to tight in the box insert, and if you try to remove them with your fingers, you may break them.. I can tell you this will be money well spent. Just do not lose game components. Find a way to keep all these many components complete. In Rebellion I sent Boba Fett to capture Luke in Dagobah, but Han rescued him. I converted Mon Mothma to the dark side. And I had a humilliating defeat at Naboo, Ackbar managed to kill 2 Star Destroyers and he only lost one X wing squad. I did not destroy entire planets yet, but I used a single reactor ignition and blasted a large ground force. The expansion has planetary energy shield for Death Star and other cool stuff that makes the game better. And all this happens on your table at home. So yes, you can have fun with your kids by creating family moments.
@@Wright805 yeah, it seems like these comments are from people who actually don’t know the lore. I mean, it’s Disney and will probably be awful, but a bad guy wielding a red lightsaber does not equal a Sith and isn’t in any way inconsistent with either the old or new canon.
That was Lucas verse hes a evil white racist we need to modernize and black jedis need representation and we need come cripple sith lords gay in a wheel chair
Ever since Mandalorian, Every show is now mandated to have children and small cute aliens. Where are the giant dangerous aliens, or ugly aliens like Jabba the Hutt?
I’m sure the biker gang from the Book of Boba Fett with their colorful Vespas will make an appearance in The Acolyte. Can’t wait for the Scooby Doo gang to team up with them!
It quite honestly looks like a low budget fanmade project but without the passion, not at all hyped for this. Im surprised they made the PoC a villain tbh, very unlike Disney these days.
Because she's not a villain......it's a point of view issue......there is no good and evil in Disney Star Wars. Anything she does is justified because someone mistreated her.
"I say there, Jeeves, would you be so kind as to fetch me a fresh, scrumptious dumpster fire?" "Would you like extra napalm with that, sir?" "Quite so. Only the finest of disasters will suffice."
@@shawnsang it wasn't though. The action style is completely different in the original Star Wars movies. I grew up with both Star Wars and Hong Kong martial arts movies and enjoyed them for what they were... and what they weren't. Disney doesn't understand Star Wars visuals (or anything else) as defined by George Lucas. Take slow motion for example. George only ever used it during visions given by the Force, never in the middle of duels or other combat sequences. Those were always fast and exhilarating, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. They never slowed down so the audience could be impressed by a shot. That's part of the reason why Disney Star Wars feels "off" visually.
The trailer starts with “Close your Eyes…now, imagine you are watching GOOD Star Wars”. I kept my eyes closed and this was the best Trailer Disney Lucasfilm has released. They’ve cracked the code!
Yeah they didn’t really tell us any premise for this series. BOBF and Kenobi had an existing premise, Andor kinda had a premise, this doesn’t really tell us anything.
She doesn't. Logic isn't one of her strong suits. Just take a transcript of her video, plug it into chat gpt and ask it to find all the logical fallacies. Or, if you have an education, you can do it yourself.
Neither Jedi look worried or seem to be interested in killing the girl, just defending against her attacks. I wouldn't put to much into the fact they could have killed her at every move. That was obvious.
Yea I don't think she's a big star wars fan because even casuals know Jedi don't try to kill anyone including sith unless it's absolutely necessary, they just try to subdue them and because of that Sith take advantage of them, if they did go for the kill everytime alot of Sith wouldn't become Sith lol
Just because I have a differing opinion on a show you like, that makes me a dunce? Listen, you can like the show, but calling people stupid is not going to win you or Andor any supporters.@@TheDarkPorkins
@@zrecvelesa6012 Now, people are saying this is going to be Andor with lightsabers. Andor still sucks, imo, but that is comedy gold. Maybe Acolyte will get the same undeserved praise. 🤣😂
Your initial thoughts are very funny and baby aliens, younglings and such are cute! Disney and Marvel are sinking ships of sludge and I have a life raft, thanks!
I think there are people who need this in their lives. I actually know some people in their 40s who are still SW fans. Yeah, they are the the original fandom. But these schills accepted the prequel trilogy (despite how flawed those movies are,) but they're now actually still accepting the Shizney stuff. They can't really defend the prequel films under scrutiny, and they have absolutely no defense for the stuff that came after...but still they cling to the idea that SW is a constant. I think for these poor people, they need SW as part of their lives. I think it's like their "high." Just my two cents.
@@johntrollston3367 No jack. I love star wars. the original trilogy and Rogue one. No offense, the prequels just weren't good...and if you like the other Disney stuff, you're just not a star wars fan. Sorry bout that
It's pretty impressive how Anna has made a successful career out of watching and reviewing media that she seems to completely despise, all while claiming to be a fan. Seems to be more and more common on youtube these days. The market for "outrage merchants" knows no bounds.
“The Sith have been extinct for a millennia…” -Ki-Adi-Mundi “If you look for the light, you can often find it.But if you look for the dark that is all you will ever see.” - Uncle Iroh
@@zainhartono7193You don't make sense. The sith were an actual race that have factually* been extinct for 1000 years. * Factually within the context of Star Wars.
Fred Ford and Paul Reiche III made Star Control 1 and 2 but publisher wanted a cheaper game, so they declined and Star Control 3 seemed a home made game. Fans consider Star Control 3 never happened. The franchise is not dead. Fans made a version of Star Control 2 named Urquan Masters for legal reasons. But this is a cult game. If you forgive the lowres graphics, this is the best Star Trek game ever and games like Mass Effect paid homage to this game by borrowing some game mechanics.
Yeah and at the start with the kids there were 2 genders of black and Asian kids but only white girls no white males like come on lol if that ain't discrimination i don't know what is
“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
Funny how his assistant is still all good in Hollywood.. Harvey should I book you a hotel for the weekend so you can show that new starlet how to get and give a head in this business?
It's actually nice for a change when you read an interview of the director and what she wants for the film and for once she talks about the story and the characters and not how she's going to be a strong female lead, no she's going to be a morally grey characters and feels inspired by how Lucas used certain colours rarely, like purple. So she did seem to do her homework on the rule of two. I get the feeling she didn't want to necessarily have it during the High Republic (the end of it in this case), but just a 100 years before TPM, which is just when the High Republic was, but who gives a fuck...
In AOTC, the younglings scene was shot super edited because the kids couldn't sit still...probably the same here. I'm going to watch the 2 parter and if it sucks, that will be it.
Quite frankly my excitement meter for Star Wars no longer exists. It’s not age at all. Not by a long shot. It’s how it was handled, and everything else Disney had done is just dead.
Someone is INDEED killing Jedi... and all the REST of the Star Wars classic characters, and her name is Leslye Headland. It doesnt take Columbo to figure that one out!
