To break even, the Acolyte would have to bring in at least 2 million new subscribers for one year, at roughly $100/year/subscriber.(Or retain 2 million, or a combination of the two.) I don't think there is anyone who believes that this show has sufficient viewership/followers for those numbers. In fact, I wonder if there isn't a net loss of customers everytime Disney puts out a show of this quality and with this messaging. As Disney stock continues to tank, and their debt load rises, they simple cannot afford to continue to lose money on shows like this.

Disney has basically destroyed Star Wars at this point. I think we all had faith in Disney handling Star Wars early on, but then there was the sequel trilogy...

From a real star wars fan... No it wasn't that bad. It was some of the best lighsave combat ever. Visually amazing. And Manny Jacinto killed his role. The writing wasn't great. But not terrible. The main girl actors preformance was unremarkable but didn't drag the show down in my opinion.

If I were Disney, I’d delete it…they try to rewrite history everywhere else😂…look at Splash mountain…they called it racially insensitive and then changed it to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and had the que with “The Salt Mines”😂😂😂…and to top it all off….it’s always down for repairs😂

luckily not much of star wars guy but in general, these days fans decide what´s canon. with ip´s constantly changing hands and beeing defecated on by talentless hacks, it coudln´t be otherwise. and the fans have spoken loud and clear. for example, everything past season 5 of next generation, technically isn´t canon either, but fans have very much embraced it along with ds9, voyager and even enterprise ,thus it´s canon. everything after that was wholeheartedly dismissed thus is not canon.

Only watched the fight scenes. Thought they were better than the rest of the Disney choreography. Didn’t bother to watch the rest of the show due to how awful previous Star Wars shows and movies were. Andor was cool I guess but aside from that it’s been straight garbage.
