Something else that probably isn’t too important, but I’ll mention it anyway. By 1945, all of North and South America were at war with Germany. Imagine how demoralizing that must be, to know that two entire continents are fighting you.

The only reason Germany won in 1940 was because they used horde tactics to defeat the much more advanced and better equipped French and British armies. France and Britain's Char B1 and Matilda tanks were immune to German panzers, and mowed them down in the Ardennes in droves. The Germans called the Panzer III the 'Wehrle' because of how easily it combusted into fire from even small arms fire. It took 30 Panzer III's to take down one French Char B1. 60 Panzers to destroy one Matilda. In the end the Allies lost in 1940 because the Germans overwhelmed them with their primitive hunnic human wave attacks, which were immensely costly in manpower to the Axis but worked because the superior Allied guns eventually ran out of ammunition. This is not often told in schools but it is the REAL truth of why Germany was so successful in the early years of WW2.
