The Addams Family Explored - A Satirical Inversion Of The Perfect American Nuclear Family 

They were to me the perfect family. They were always backing each other up.

Fun fact the orginal creator of the Addams family back in the 30s collected Midevil torture weapons. and he told his coworkers that he prayed to God every night that someone would brake into his house. when asked he said something along the lines of "I would hate to see my collection go to waste" I wish I could have meet this man

I love the 90s Addams Family movies with Cristini Ricci and Raul Julia. I also enjoyed that short lived New Addams Family show that aired on Fox Kids.

Could we please have someone talk about The Addams Family who DOESN'T sound like they're just reading from a script? I'd like to hear this done by a person who's ACTUALLY watched the series and/or the films. Plus, this is all over the place; going from the show to the cartoon, to the original comics, to the show, to the 90s movies, and all around. This needs to be more organized

I always loved the original Addams family. This is a pretty good run down, except for two things. Morticia's dress was actually too tight, they had to have a special opening on the back of the dress they could loosen just so she could walk around in her little shuffle. Also it would be great if the person doing the voice over would learn how to properly pronounce macabre because that's not how. I get that it's a weird looking word, but it actually sounds cool when said right.

It's sad that ted Cassidy the actor who played lurch and thing in the tv show died so young

I honestly would’ve liked it if Tim Burton directed the Addams Family animated movies. I mean the dude has only THREE Animated films to his name but his style is so well known! Plus the creepy them of the series fits NICELY with Burton’s style! Come on why didn’t they take advantage of that???

To this day the 90s cartoon is ignored.

The way I see it they were an example of a true model nuclear family is but expressed through a gothic, creepy and coocky lense.

When Ms. Robot was talking about the 90’s cartoon, she says that Anjelica Houston did the voice of Morticia Addams. Which is wrong. It was Nancy Linari who did the voice.
