The idea of Damien and Wednesday in a story together just brings me joy along with the idea of The Addams family in Gotham that could be its own damn comic
I feel like Tim’s not in this because they would immediately recognize him as one of their own I feel like Janet and Jack were definitely Adams’. Also it would explain why Tim won’t age past 17
Gomez: *hanging out in wayne manor * Timothy? Tim: *getting his sixth cup of coffee this hour *......heeeeey uncel gomez. Bruce: what? Dick: huh? Jason: the fuck? Stephenie: IS THAT WHY YOU DONT AGE?! tim: *sips coffe* well. *jumps out nearest window*
"But sadly, Janet was the white sheep of the family. Married Jack Drake, whose taste for darkness only stretched to digging up dead peoples' belongings. Why, they never even found a cursed mummy. Now, young Timothy takes after the Addams side of the family. He's been following the Batman, hiding in the shadows since he was a child."
Someone made my best friend cry do da do da that someone is gonna die all the do da day Don't matter too me if there family you made them cry you chose to die all the do da day hey
Cause he knows Damien is a piece off the old insanity. But Todd, a random ass kid, was for what he looks couldn't be older than what 7 too distracted about his sister to notice if a giant crock went bye and then there was a lion.
I absolutely adore the idea of fester almost immediately understanding bizzaro, it feels like a high functioning neurodivergent person becoming friends with a lower functioning divergent person, it's so sweet
Idk why, but watching this made me imagine a scenario where Ra's Al Ghul reveals that Thing is actually his own hand that was cut off by one of Gomez's more recent ancestors, maybe his grandfather, before it fell into a Lazarus Pit which healed the hand and gave it life of it's own. Gomez's ancestor then took the hand and brought it into the Addams family, thus Thing was born.
15:57 love how gomez just ran with bizzaro until he snapped his fingers twice and bizzaro hummed the theme was surprised then immediately understood what was happening and started inverting his own speech flawlessly
I'm surprisingly.... In love with this. I'm just so in love with Jason Todd's characterisation. He's ALL for the Addams Family and totally elated at having someone actually killing Joker, lolll. (For Harley's sake too!) You're amazing, dude. Like, even your speech patterns for each character.
Reminds me of that episode on the old Addams family show where a guy like Jason runs away from his rich dad and everyone calls him a troublemaker. But then he meets the Addams family and they take him in and insist that he become part of the family because they find him so delightful. He even wore a leather jacket and rode a motorcycle.
You know, if I had a nickel for every time Damian was in a relationship with a goth girl, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
Not Morticia going after Joker! I bet Ivy ranted about him before but not specifing who was getting harmed by him and Harley telling her just made Morticia very upset
Anyone who’s enjoying the idea of a Damian and Wednesdays friendship needs to realize what would ACTUALLY happen if they were friends (It’s me I’m enjoying this)(and what would actually happen because you know they’d drive the Batfam crazy and make the Addams proud)
now as much as I want marvel to do a crossover with dc comics I needs a one with the addams family and dc james gun please get this green light on this
To me Bruce having the Bat signal turned off means 1 of 2 things to his rouges gallery. 1) Batman isn't around so the signal is futile therfore they go on a rampage. or 2) Bats did the thing that meant the signal got turned on then word got back to the commisioner that it was Batman so he turned it off & the villans should have fled yesterday.
I feel like the adams complaining about joker being too colourful is odd, since in an episode of their series they live right next to some really bright, happy neighbours and don’t seem to mind at all
Ah, but the neighbors weren't RUDE(TM). Joker has... Colorful Vibes. Deeply unpleasant. Whereas the neighbors, bless their tasteless hearts, simply were horrible decorators. An Addams does NOT go into to someone's house and start insulting the decor, darling! You grin, grit your teeth, and try to find something delightfully gloomy to compliment. They are hosting you, after all. Lol
Absolutely love the idea Bruce Wayne is having a mental breakdown dealing with The Addams family, and the rest of the bat family Just getting along okay.
this makes me so happy Addendum: After watching further I have to say that happy is an understatement, and after pausing multiple times each short to bask in the joy of seeing the Addams being as Addams as possible I have to say Thank You in the most sincerest sentiments I can
Everything. Just everything about this was perfect. I have never seen a more perfect crossover. Wonderfully done, beautiful work. Your acting was outstanding. Please keep up the great work!
